I can tell the people who work here are amazing because most other dollar generals have empty shelves, missing products, or lazy employees. Not here though. I have a handicap tag and a well documented severe back injury. I kindly asked the man at the register if he could help carry my bags because there were no carts and my back was about to give out. There was another person at the other register, so he wasn’t working alone. He loudly scoffed and said, “NO.” I explained about my back but he just ignored me. I had to make two trips to get my things and was unable to get out of bed the whole next day. Avoid these employees at all costs! I found everything I needed fast with the help of the signs on the isles. Stock could of been better because there was a bunch of empty racks. Good selection, but not EVERYTHING is a $1 store in the whole store also very messy shelves are extremely organised items are all over the floor people walking/kicking all over the merchandise.
This was my first time ever in a Dollar General and if this is how they carry out business in the other stores, I am amazed at the 3.0+ star rating. To start off, the outside looked really shabby. There was trash everywhere. Inside the store, it seemed like they were restocking since there were merchandise in boxes sprawled out almost in every aisle with no employee working on them in sight. It was well stocked though, besides the chaos in the shelves. I was able to find what I needed at a very good price. The cashier was friendly. I believe that management could do better, like ask corporate for better outdoor lighting. That parking is very dark and shady at night. They could also try and help out with the aesthetic part of the store to make it more welcoming and not so much of a safety hazard waiting to happen. Internet in the store is shoddy, I would suggest to bring in WIFI as it would make the shopping experience better when trying to check out the app for coupons. I do hope this store gets better since the area is starting to pick up with new construction of homes.
Well stocked, busy, another employee came to help check the line out. (picture) I had to do a double take. Don’t know what to say about it, Guess it’s in everything now.🤷🏽♀️ I checked the ingredients.
This store is disgusting. There are always carts filled with merchandise, product in boxes on the floors, and their shelves are not even half full. You can barely move through the store. As a female I feel unsafe shopping in the area and will NOT visit this location alone. Last time we stopped by to pick up one item on our way home, the only employee we saw in the store walked past us standing at checkout, unattended, rushed out the door and said she would be back. Several MINUTES went by and she didn’t return. We ended up checking out through the self-checkout and exited the store, to see the employee smoking a cigarette on the side of the building while scrolling on her phone. I could not believe it. People were in the store confused as to why no one was there or at the register. In the past I’ve watched people run out the front of the store with stolen merchandise and no one batted an eye. Do yourself a favor and don’t shop here.
This place is wonderful! Kim is a great manager! Tracy, and Jennifer are so helpful! Store is a pleasure to shop in.
