  4. I think it’s an absolute NO GO. While all pharmacies in Bottrop protested, the Elefanten Apotheke and City Apotheke didn’t need it. I don’t think they understood the seriousness of the situation.
    My fullest respect goes to all pharmacies throughout Germany who have protested for fee adjustments and less bureaucracy, which would also have benefited the patients.
    The argument that there is an obligation to supply to customers is ridiculous.
    Just uncollegial. Emergency pharmacies were available for patients. This only shows that both the Elefanten Apotheke and the City Apotheke are in very strong competition with each other. Both pharmacies were open on the day of the strike and if one had been closed then the other might have been too. If the argument is based on the obligation to supply, then I think the owners of the two pharmacies take care of themselves by letting their cash register ring on the day. While everyone else stands up for each other, these two pharmacies probably don’t need it. I think team spirit is very important in healthcare, just like in any other industry.
    It’s a shame that I have to give one star to post this review. I would like to give negative stars here.

  5. This pharmacy and the city pharmacy in Bottrop do not even deserve a star for their lack of solidarity on June 14th. All pharmacies in Bottrop, with the exception of the emergency pharmacies, should strike together against the austerity policies of the government and the health insurance companies. Apparently the two didn’t need it, greed for profit and competition was more important to them!
    You can save yourself the argument of having to be open because of the necessary supply of customers, the emergency pharmacies were open on site for that. A lame excuse… sorry, but a no go!

    I think the pharmacy and the friendly, nice team are very good and I like going to the pharmacy to fill my prescriptions. The medication is always questioned as to whether the doctor has already described this or whether it should be written on the package. I think this is very important, especially when it comes to medicines for children. Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s justified that comments or bad ratings are made about drug prices or prescriptions that require an order. The prices of many items vary, even in the free market economy you give a bad rating. I always look forward to good service 👌

    When we moved to Bottrop we went there and got stuck. So far we have only experienced friendliness and a high level of service orientation, which for me goes far beyond what a pharmacy should be. No matter what problems or inquiries you have, regarding medication or health insurance, I have always been helped so far. Even if the booth is full (always) the employees take their time and respond to every question and concern. Even if you screw up something as a customer, I was always treated courteously and service-oriented. And the music on hold on the phone rips hard 😉

    This pharmacy in Bottrop is recommended. We are here for the first time and were competently advised. They also took their time when selecting the various brands and active ingredients and did not recommend the most expensive one to us. Thanks very much

    The team, especially Mrs. Breuer, is very competent and friendly. What I particularly like about this pharmacy is the atmosphere. Here you feel welcome, you are greeted in a friendly manner, requests are only taken into account and consultations are not carried out under time pressure, but are carried out in detail and carefully.
