  1. All staff wearing masks. I asked 2 different staff members that were working in different departments questions. Bother were friendly & helpful. The person in the kitchen department was super great at assisting me. They did have a little wait when checking out but it was tolerable since the lines were moving pretty quickly.

  2. In the two years I’ve lived here I have never been to this target when the clothing and shoe sections weren’t a complete disaster. Clothes and hangers on the floor, shirts in piles on the shelves, shoe boxes piled up and strewn everywhere, including in the aisles, which are already narrow. This store literally looks like it’s Black Friday year-round, and I have NEVER experienced this at another target I’ve been to in different states. Not sure what employees are doing all day, but they definitely aren’t prioritizing cleanliness.

  3. I had to make a return the day before Christmas Eve. The store was very busy but thanks to the team the line moved quickly, even as a team member was helping out a couple with a complicated return. The couple left the store smiling and so did I. I returned a sweater that was the wrong size and purchased the correct one that had just been discounted. The team member who helped me suggested I put my refund on a gift card so that I could immediately use the funds on the sweater I was purchasing. I happily took her up on that and purchased the sweater with the gift card. I then walked around the store and found a great Christmas gift for my sister. I used the remaining balance on the gift card to pay and left the store feeling quite accomplished! Thanks for everything!

  4. I placed an optical order at a different store over New Years to be delivered here (a 90 minute drive from my home). When I went to pick them up on Jan 16, the wrong glasses had been ordered. The very nice young lady helped me pick new frames and assured me the new glasses would be shipped to my home, as requested.
    I called on Mar 6, a full 8 weeks later, and was told they were at the store even though I had not received a call. I informed the man on the phone that they were to be shipped and he said he would call me back. When I asked if he had my number, he said it was “probably” on my account and that he was busy. I asked when I could expect a call and he said “When I am able. Goodbye”
    At that point I asked if I could please have his name and he refused to give it to me, yelling that he was busy over and over again before hanging up on me.
    I spent well over $300 for a pair of glasses that I waited a total of 10 weeks for and this guy wouldn’t even give the courtesy of an estimated call day or time, or even his name. Very rude and, frankly, disappointing.

  5. I had the WORST customer service experience at customer service today! I was doing a wine exchange because the wine had leaked in my bag when I purchased it. She said they don’t do exchanges… So, she returned it & then tried to charge me more than I paid! She keeps yelling at me “ma’am you need to pay,” but I kept telling her to keep it and I didn’t want it. She FINALLY got it after yelling at me THREE TIMES!

    I love Target. I live about 10 miles from Target. I will pass by other shopping centers just to go there. Target is the only place that I have found Method products from laundry detergent to granite cleaner. The cash rewards for using the app is awesome as well.

    I’ve always shopped in Target (University Parkway, Winston Salem, NC location) for the clean, neat, well-organized store that differed drastically from a similar experience in WalMart. Sadly, today, particularly in women’s shoes, I was astounded at the disarray and terrible mess of the inventory. Nothing about what I saw today made me want to return to Target and even gave me significant pause to witness such decline in store organization from the earlier days of this location’s opening. Your management should visit this store (unannounced) and witness first-hand the lack or organization and overall unprofessional environment. I’ll buy my items elsewhere after this experience.

    All the front end staff today after 8pm were very nice and friendly today. The guy who checked us out on the cash register number four was very friendly and checked us quickly and efficiently.

    Yesterday I came to this Target for the first time. There’s a clothing section right when you walk in, but it’s not very pretty it looks like a Ross. But as you continue to enter the store the rest of the place is really pretty. Shelves are organized, everything is super clean. There’s a pharmacy, as well as groceries and electronics. Everything looks high quality. As I was using self checkout I had trouble paying because I left my credit card, but I was trying to use my Target Phone app to pay for my products and it’d not let me do that. Use my phone to pay, so they can charge it to my app. The employee at self checkout was very nice and helpful, but we could not do anything about it and I had to find another payment method. Boomer because my credit card gives me cashbacks at Target.

    Target has always been one of my favorite stores and one with a very presentable image. It is with deep concern that I am leaving this review. This store is unacceptably chaotic, messy, and untidy. I have been to this Target several times since moving to Winston nearly a year ago and I am sad to report the shoes and clothes in particular are always a mess. Management must address this immediately if they hope to retain customers.
