What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. This is a very nice Macy’s Department Store. I love the aesthetics and Holiday Decor 🎄I was amazed at the fact that they have Toys R Us, Cheesecake Factory, and a wine bar on site. It was a bit difficult to find assistance on the floor, but I got lucky enough to find a short checkout line. There are a lot of people doing their holiday shopping. The cashier was very polite. 👍👍

  2. Located next to Union Square, with several levels of shopping. I went to Cheese Cake Factory here for lunch , which was located on the 7th floor with direct elevator up to it. Here you will find most of the famous american brands – all under the same roof.

  3. They have every great outfit for everyone. Love how spaced out the place is; giving every person room to look around and find what they need.
Also love the food places inside – such as Starbucks because shopping can sometimes be a tiring exercise that requires one to rest a bit, for a snack.
The staff is amazing and always eager to help with a smile.

  4. Wow, what huge department store, all the major brands are sold here. It’s great to be able to try on shoes and clothes in person to see how they fit and looks on me. Much better than shopping online.

Also we should shop more in person to support actual store or one day they’ll be gone and all we have left is Amazon. How terrible is that.

  5. Superb wine bar with views that relax and service that is relaxed and makes you feel at home ; best part of this store is where they sell bed sheets where the service is informative; But the basement where they have kitchen products is more cluttered warehouse with limited service; I also like the Boudin cafe in the basement which has good food and service.

A very nice store for clothing a shoes. You get all type of men and women clothing. Formal and casual. Sports wear also,as well as shoes. Women section is located on one end of the mall and men’s section is located on the other end.

There are two Macy’s stores at Westfield’s Valley Fair: one store for men’s fashion, and one for women’s. I only walked through the lady’s Macy’s (because that’s where I parked) on my way to Apple Store, but Macy’s seems to always be clean, and the employees professional.

I can’t really afford Macy’s. I’m more Walmart and Target, the latter of which, for me, is upscale (lol).

We went to return a couple of gifts. God awful excuse of a store, no kid’s area cashier for at least the 30 minutes that we waited for someone to show up.

When we went on a safari trying to find someone to help us, we finally came upon a sad corner of the store entitled “backstage”, where two of the rudest human beings of all time were working (if management is interested, it’s whoever was there at 6 PM on Monday 1/2). As soon as we approached, from the get go the lady was doing everything she possibly could to send us away with our returns. She started out by lying that there’s nothing she could do without a gift receipt, didn’t even bother looking at the tags to see if there was a barcode (there was) but insisted for 2 minutes there was nothing for her to scan. We literally had to point out the policy that was written on the wall sitting right next to her head for the entirety of her daily duration at this miserable place.

I mean she was TRYING to be obnoxious and send us away empty handed. When we finally got her to return the items, she gave us a receipt for about half of what the items are actually worth, looked like numbers she typed in her self. By that point I really didn’t care, I just wanted to get out of her toxic environment in that cesspit

This was after we went to the cashier upstairs and they (again very rudely) pointed us to the kids area downstairs, like I get that it needs to be returned to the kid’s section but it’s the same store/company, are you guys really that incapable? Is your system that incompetent? Or were we just sent on another wild goose chase?

I guess we’ll never find out because we’ll never shop there again and neither should you if you value your time, life is too short, trust me.

It’s a standard Macy’s at a nice mall. Good selection and variety and the store is very clean. Associates are not the friendliest but not rude either. I had to return an online order and they’d never seen a Hawai’i driver’s license before so apparently it’s “invalid ID.” I’ll chalk it up to being a one-off; maybe next visit will be better.

TLDR: Don’t use curbside pickup at this Macy’s!!

Good luck getting your stuff using Curbside Pickup here. I’ve tried using it 3 separate times now. One time they did attempt to find me and even called me (they hung up before saying anything) but then gave up so I ended up having to go inside and wait in line for my items. My husband waited in the pickup section and after no one came out after 15 minutes he started calling the store, he did this for over 20 minutes with no one ever answering the call or coming outside so he also had to go inside and wait in line. The most recent time (06/26/2022), my husband again went to the curbside pickup spot and he waited for close to 30 minutes while I went inside to visit the Estee Lauder counter and take a peek at Backstage and once again no one came out with our order and no one called. This has irritated the both of us to the point that we will not be shopping at this location anymore.

I thought that was the price and I wasted time trying on the shoe, when I went to pay they said it wasn’t that price because the label was wrong! It takes a long time to be attended to in this place and I didn’t buy the shoe due to management errors! If the price was there they had to make the value what it was! 40 min wasted

Stopped by to buy dress with my wifey. Great collection. This store is a lot better than Stoneridge mall Macy’s in terms of collection and how they placed things.

Closets are a complete disaster, smells like pee, glitter everywhere, takes too long to checkout & to make returns. If you need help they take forget to get back to you and leave you helpless. No management and no customer services.

Got good service here recently buying suits, shirt and tie. But the shoes guys we’re missing in action and NO ONE ELSE WANTED TO HELP US. Not cool. Except the European lady who matched my shirts with a great tie. She was a delight.

Spent some time searching through the clearance and found a good deal on one item. I wait in the only line I find and it takes quite a while and when they scan the item it’s marked incorrectly and they take another few minutes to leave the register and go ask a manager who doesn’t honor the price on the tag and then they ask me if I want to buy the item which is now near almost full price. Poor customer service and poor pricing on items.
