I found all kinds of great quality clothing at Ross’s all the time. stuff you wouldn’t think would be there for a great price. including all kinds of other stuff like kitchenware and bathroom accessories and decor. Why go to the mall and spend a lot of money when you can go to Ross’s and find pretty much the same stuff for way cheaper.

  2. I can always find bargains here. Tuesday is Senior Day, so I got my 10% discount. First time using their “self check-out”. Not bad. Asked if this was offered because it’s hard to hire and she said yes.

  3. Such a strange employee attitude here. Apparently they aren’t interested in selling anything – there were people that seemed to be doing inventory that blocked aisles and made it impossible to shop, and when I did find some things and ventured into the checkout lane I knew I was in trouble. Despite lots of people wanting to check out, there were only two lanes open and a self check that the manager seemed much more interested in than the lanes where you had to go if you had over 15 items, which most people did. After I finally got to the front of the line the woman cashier decided to close, and started shuffling hangers and wasting time as the line grew. I am assuming the guy that she left open was new – he didn’t have a name tag like everyone else did, and you could tell he was drowning but no one helped him. The woman went on break as the line got longer even though she could see that there was an ever growing line of frustrated customers including myself. When it was finally time for me to check out I discovered there were no large bags, and no wrapping materials – an issue when you are buying large glass home items. Add to that the fact you can’t take carts out, and they had to put each item I bought in a small bag which I had to figure out how to get it to my car. Ross does have great buys, but the lack of customer service and any interest in the experience that their customers struggle though has me reconsidering where I shop – it won’t be at this store!

  5. Really nice Ross. Clean, well stocked, lots of variety. They have self check-out which I’m not sure is much quicker because you have to wait for the staff to authorize the receipt, take off anti-theft devices, and bag. The staff at self-checkout was really friendly and helpful.

    Lots of clothes and shoes well sorted out in sections around the store. Easy to find the general types of clothing you want (pants, shirts, dresses). And the shoe department is massive! Like other Ross stores, prices are good, but you need to hunt thru the racks to find what you need because there’s no merchandising–plain cotton dresses will be hung next to a work dress. But that’s your exchange for the prices you get. And while this one is definitely nicer than some of the other ones in town, I found dresses tangled with each other because they were falling of their hangers, and it hadn’t been fixed by staff. For me, this is not a quick stop shop. It takes time to search for what I want, as opposed to a major department store. So if you are opposed to that, then Ross isn’t for you. Parking is easy and it’s in a great part of town to make this a good stop to include in a day of shopping.

    A week ago I purchased a large suite case from there location, and it broke at the airport before my departure flight. The manager Michael suggested that I contact the manufacturer of the suitcase to file a claim. He didn’t offer any compensation or apology for me traveling with a large suitcase full of clothes with only 3 of the 4 wheels operational. Also the layout for returns is cluttered and easily missed. While standing in the return line, I was required to step out of line so workers could enter and exit the center counter.

    Love this Ross. Super close by and the items change out pretty regularly so I like to stop in a few times a month. Lots of cute things, practical things, I will stop here before checking Wal Mart since they carry similar, usually higher quality items for less. Especially in house wares.
