  2. So we’re do I start. The customer service is horrible. You never can find someone to help you, and when you do they act like you are getting on their nerves to get some help. The only man that I did find to help me was Mr. Larry. And he wasn’t even in the department I needed help in, but he followed me to the wood area helped me find it and marked it for me. Getting it cut is a hole other story. OMG… I patiently waited first in line to get my wood cut. I was told if it was less then some inches I forget I think 12, than it could not be cut. They said they had to get permission from a Manger. So I waited and waited for one. In the meantime three other customers had been helped. I was there waiting for a least 45 minutes to a hour. I grew very angry, so I walked to the front for help found the young man that started helping me and informed him how angry I was and a Manger have not come yet. Finally someone came again informed me the safety inches rule. So I did get my wood cut an hour and half later with a couple of not so concerned apologies. Checked out and did speak to another manager. Moral of this story, I will be going to Lowe’s for my next wood project. I don’t have a issue with safety, but if you’re in the wood cutting business than you should find a better way to help the customers needs taken care of even if it’s a five man job. Just to be clear I could have left and went straight to Lowe’s, but they had started cutting the wood already, and I didn’t want to waste there material. That’s the kind of person I am. Guys let’s do a better job with the next person.

  3. Beware don’t buy a LG gas range. Home Depot only gives you 48hours to return it. I notice the gas leaks when I was discharged from the hospital. I never use the range today is 1/27/23 Home Depot delivered the range 12/14/23. I call Home Depot I only have 48hours to return it. I call LG on Saturday they came out Tuesday. The technician found 3 gas leaks he replaced the 3 gas lines yesterday and found another gas leak he overnight the part. Another technician came today and replace that part. He found another leak on the stove. This is unbelievable!! LG text me and said I cannot get a exchange or a refund. We are talking about a little over a thousand dollars with my protection plan. I am telling you consumers the truth. I wish I would have purchased a electric range. I am very concern now because I never been through nothing like this before in my life. I have purchase a carbon monoxide detector since all this began. Please don’t buy a LG if you do don’t buy from Home Depot. All of this information is documented. Don’t make the same mistake I made.

  4. Took me 45 minutes to get someone to finally help me get the power drill I needed. I asked 3 different Pele for help and at least two of them said they would get help but only one actually called over the loudspeaker.

  5. Douglas is Home Depot’s shining star!! I took my mom to Home Depot in search of something I could use to hang my parent’s gazebo lights from the metal roofing. Douglas (an older, black gentleman) was not just patient with my mom, he was SUPER HELPFUL!! He didn’t just tell us about various options, he showed us the best option that would meet all of our stated needs and explained how it worked. We purchased the items and they worked out perfectly! Thanks again Douglas, your customer service is unmatched!!

    Yesterday evening, I found a tile, I needed and I couldn’t find an employee to help and Nicholas didn’t hesitate to help me, he walked up to me and he greeted me with a smile and helped my husband and I right away! Also we went to pay at self checkout and there was a young lady I didn’t get her name but she had a smile the whole time she helped us check out our tile. We went to park and wait for our pallet of tile and the young lady came out with the young man driving the forklift helped us and also were very friendly and helpful the whole time! Very happy with their outstanding customer service!!!

    There’s a lot that make companies amazing, but for me it’s the little guys. The employees make the store a great experience and as often as I shop this location I have had my fair share of good experiences but my most recent experience prompted me to write a review. If you need anything at the Home Depot off Irving BLVD make sure you look for some amazing employees; Tavo, Jon, and Lorena to name a few. They will make absolute certain you are taken care of and they will not let you leave disappointed. Thank you guys so much for just being awesome! PS it’s a little hot in the store but other than that, I have never had such an amazing experience with employees in ANY store like I did at this Home Depot.

    Getting any kind of assistance at Home Depot has always been difficult. Was a little better when Lowe’s was in town. But they’re gone and service is worse. Saturday afternoon, the morning rush is over I’m trying to find someone to just cut rope. When I got on the aisle there were 2 employees, chatting. When I turned to ask for help they were gone. Had to walk over to customer service 3 times and wait 15 minutes to get assistance. Told them if they’d give me a knife I’d cut it myself. It wasn’t for a lack of employees they were wandering all over the place giving me dumb looks. Common problem.

    I ordered a refrigerator and I was told someone would call the day before to let me choose the four hour delivery window. The day before I received a text that said they would be there Saturday between two and six. I called the 800 number on my order info and told them I didn’t know if I could do it between two and six and what else do they have available? She said Tuesday or Wednesday. I told her I needed to call my husband and see what day works best and I would call her back. I called back and told 2nd lady I needed to know what times they had available Tuesday or Wednesday and she said let me check and then the call disconnected. I called back a third time, and while I was holding, I received a text showing my appointment had been rescheduled for Tuesday. When the 3rd lady answered I told her I was talking to the 2nd lady and the call disconnected and then I received a text showing the new appointment was for Tuesday. I told her I didn’t ask her to change it yet and I was only seeing what times were available. She said she could only tell me that it would be Tuesday and she couldn’t give me a time. I told her I wanted to keep my original appointment then and she said she couldn’t add anything to the schedule. I called the store directly and they said they couldn’t add me back to schedule either.

    Love this place! I literally can find just about anything that I need here that other places don’t have in stock. Self check out is easy and the people are really friendly and helpful. I just wish there was more people that worked on the floor as it is hard to find someone without walking the whole store to only find that employers is busy with someone else.
