  2. I called Korte electric about a problem I was having, and they sent someone out the same day. Harry evaluated the problem with my electrical fuse box and found it was a faulty line going to the grinder station and ran a new line. He was very knowledgeable and professional and explained things clearly to me. He gave me an estimate prior to the job and the total was exactly the same as the estimate. I felt very confident with him doing the job after talking with him. He did a great job! I will definitely use Korte again and ask for Harry!

  3. My service time frame was from 2-4. Mason came at 2:30, which was great! He was fast and efficient. My outside drain was partially sealed with cement so I thought it was gonna be a huge issue and very costly. Mason had accessed the drain and fixed the problem in less than an hour! The cost was no more than what was quoted to me over the phone. Not only was the service fast, efficient, and affordable, but Mason was the nicest guy and was in the best mood. A+ Korte! Thank you Mason!

  4. Excellent service technicians! Everyone we met from Korte was polite and knowledgeable. They impressed me with the care they took to get the job done right. They treated my home as though it was theirs. I appreciated that they heard my concerns and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend this company.

  5. I used Korte because I thought they overall had a good reputation. I called on a Monday morning because I had no hot water, they did send a technician out within an hour. I described the issue and he told me it had to be the thermostat prior to even looking at the hot water heater. He quoted me 691.00 for the thermostats that my water heater required. On Friday of the same week, I smelled something hot or burning in my garage. I called Korte again and they sent a technician out again that found the part that they had installed had caught fire. Because of the poor installation I now required a new hot water heater. The agreement between Korte and I was that they would refund my original $691.00 minus the $99.00 service fee. I am now trying to receive my refund, which should have been top priority considering the circumstances. I would not suggest using Korte in the future.
    Update 2/15/22 still no refund. My refund was not processed immediately because I do not have it. I’ve waited days for a refund that should take minutes. Also in response to Korte about my hot water heater being “old” it was not even 7 years old yet. It was a year out of a covered warranty. Consumer beware…..they clearly are intentionally holding money after a faulty job.

    I’m a single dad. We had just moved into our home. I told them over the phone while making the appointment I could really only afford to address my plumbing issues in steps. 1 issue at a time. They agreed to that plan and sent someone out. Before the technician went down to my basement, I reiterated that I would like to address my issues individually so that it was communicated to him clearly what my expectations and my financial capabilities were and he agreed. After he evaluated plumbing we spoke again about what it would look like addressing these problems 1 by 1, and he told me he’d write up an estimate and get back with me in a week or less. He charged me $316 for the inspection and estimate, noting that $316 would be subtracted from the work performed. A week later he sent me an estimate and I asked him which issue we should address first as discussed, and that’s when he told me he would do the entire job, or none of it at all. Completely counter to every conversation we ever had and contradicted the only condition I had on making the appointment in the first place. Had I been told during my initial phone call, or at any point during the process, that there was a possibility that they would refuse to address my plumbing issues individually, I would not have made the appointment. They took my money under false pretenses and that’s the part that is unethical and dishonest. I’m a single dad, that $316 means a lot more to me than it did to them and the way that was handled is why I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.

    I can not say enough about this company!! Going above and beyond to help me with my sewer problem. After waking up and flushing my toilet, sewer backed up into my basement. I called this company they got me on the schedule almost immediately!! With the cold weather they were busy but found enough time for me and my problem. Staff very professional, the tech was very professional and answered all my questions. Did no work until they quoted the job that needed done. I will definitely use this company for as many years going forward. Kudos to the crew for going above and beyond to help me in my time of need !! Outstanding customer service, which is very rare anymore and I couldn’t be happier with their service !!!

    Roto-Rooter got my drain unplugged. It took an hour and a half to not find a clean out drain outside. I was told it would cost more because he had to remove the toilet. Very polite and put shoe covers on to protect floors. He filled the tub with water three times,ran water in sink till he was done. It took two hours and fifty minutes to complete. He gave a six month warranty.

    Our home warranty company contacts plumbers when we have an issue. We had water spraying out of a pipe that could not be shut off with our in home water valve. It was a huge leak that had to be shut off outside by the water company. Our warranty company contacted three different plumbers. The first would not return a call or answer their phone. The second told us that they wouldn’t do the job. Once Roto-Rooter got the call they were here within half an hour and had the pipe replaced and the water back on within 45 minutes. They were clean, placing booties on their shoes and leaving a clean work area. They were efficient, and they were careful, checking the newly repaired pipe for leaks before they called the job complete. I would add that the technician was professional and friendly. We were very pleased with this service call. I can’t speak as to the competitiveness of their prices as our home warranty pays that. Based on our experience today we would highly recommend Roto-Rooter for your plumbing needs.

    Had a water heater problem and found it needed to be replaced. We scheduled a replacement and had an issue getting to water shut offs because of a logistical error on our property management company. So we had to reschedule. The guys who showed up all three days were absolutely professional and treated us and our tenants with respect and patience. They replaced the water heater on a Friday and Saturday morning our tenant told us there still wasn’t hot water. I knew it wasn’t an “emergency” but a tenant without hot water for four days is important to us. The guy on call came out and found it to be a blown breaker. I was certain I had checked those the first time our tenant told us so he never charged us for the trip.(chalked it up to shorting something out during the install). I own two businesses and I do my best to try to treat people the way this entire team treated us. The two women and the one guy that look my call on a Saturday who answered the phones were responsive and helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks to the entire summers team. 10/10 would use again and recommend!

    Once again Summers did a great job with my system maintenance. Tyler spent time explaining my system to me and was able to fix my hoses without replacing them saving me $$$’s and potentially a few cold days in January without heat. He also did a few quotes on a few service options that I am not completing at the moment, but will look into in the near future. Tyler was very patient, knowledgeable, and a overall nice guy!

    Summers is wonderful, we had them out two years ago to check our AC unit, they were able to get it fixed and let us know it had a recall on it. January 2022 our furnace went out, and they responded very quickly. I greatly appreciated their prompt response, as we had a young infant at the time. They were able to get a new AC unit and furnace installed within two days. They took the time to go over all of the options and made sure that I understood. Today, Tyler came out to do the maintenance and check our system. Just as the techs before him, he was professional, friendly, and respectful of our home and time. He explained what he was going to be doing, gave me updates, and informed me of any changes he made to the system. He did a wonderful job! I also appreciate the texts the company sends with the tech’s picture when they are on their way as well. It’s small, but gives me a bit of comfort knowing who to expect at the door.
