What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Cody came and helped us with our broken toilet. 100% would recommend. Not only did they make it to our house in 2 hours, but Cody was a friendly, efficient, and a wealth of knowledge for issues to look out for with our old house. New toilet installed, fair price, helpful guy. Ended up replacing the toilet. I have nothing but praise.

  2. We had a great experience working with Gene Johnson plumbing. We had a leak in our basement that was caused by a bathroom above. The first team suggested I open up the drywall which helped the next team to diagnose the issue (which now seems to be a grout/tile issue). They are upfront about costs, easy to work with and arrive on time. The text message will let you know which tech is arriving, a picture and a blurb about them. When you call to schedule a visit, they also check if you would like the technician to wear a mask, which I think is very thoughtful.

  3. We were very impressed with Mike our service tech. He was able to solve a very head- scratching puzzle and we were so happy to have our water back on! He seemed like an all around great guy and he even went the extra mile and helped us to get our radiant heat running so that we wouldn’t be without heat even though it wasn’t his area of expertise. We would definitely recommend this company!

  4. My experience with Miguel Ramos was absolutely amazing! He was courteous, and professional and immediately went about inspecting the leak from my shot water heater and then gave provided me my options, including pointing out that my warranty was still effective for another 2 years. Because the original installer will come and replace my water heater, I could not give Miguel the job but would have done so gladly. “What do I owe you for your time Miguel? “Absolutely nothing” he said despite being out on a cold snowy day for over 30 minutes. I am a customer for any future needs in my home and will share my experience with anyone needing your services thanks to Miguel.

  5. About a week ago I had Gene Johnson Plumbing come out to replace my tankless water heater with one that has a recirculation feature so I can get quick hot water to my kitchen sink (instead of waiting minutes and wasting so much water!), as well as other problems that weren’t addressed after buying the house (water condensation leaking from the exhaust as one example).

The tech, Chad Hendrix, had the most impeccable attention to detail while installing. He even stained the backboard that supports the tankless water unit so it’d look nice inside my garage! In the end, he took his time to explain how the system worked, what potential maintenance things I could do myself, as well has how to operate the unit if I wanted to adjust anything. This guy is passionate about his installs and making sure his customers are looked after – I’m glad he was the one to come to do the install, as most people are simply there to get the job done, get paid, and get out of there. Gene Johnson Plumbing, this guy deserves a bonus 🙂

Dale and Atama arrived very early in the 10 – 2 window I was given and replaced my leaking toilet with a shiny new, non leaking one. I really appreciate their pricing which is by the job rather than by the hour and how clearly everything is explained. It was a great experience overall and I will absolutely call them for my plumbing needs going forward.

Really good and timely service! The technician came out very quickly, within the window quoted, fixed the issue and even put the appliances back that I moved. I appreciate their communication, timeliness and professionalism. The technician even game me some estimates regarding other work that we want to do in the near future. We will definitely planning on using Mr. Rooter for future plumbing work. Thank you! 😊

Mr. Rooters answered immediately when called and they were available to schedule an appointment the next day. The plumbers were on time, knowledgeable, respectful, and professional. They were able to locate the issue immediately and were transparent with how much it would cost and the parts needed. There were no surprises because he explained what all of the outcomes could be and the worst case scenario. They fixed the issue in a timely manner and cleaned up after themselves. Great service, great experience. So happy to have this issue resolved.

I had a slow kitchen sink drain that was slow in my 50s era rambler. I called Mr Rooter on a Saturday morning and they were able to get me in within two hours. The tech arrived and assessed the problem and gave me a bid. We agreed and they went to work. Brought the motorized snake in and went about 40 ft and was able to get the sink flowing. He ran a couple double sink fulls to make sure it was truly cleared, very thorough. He cleaned up as if he’d never been there. He explained the 30 warranty and I am happy with the service

Dale was very experienced and knew how to solve a problem with our toilets that two other plumbers claimed would be very difficult and would take hours, so they quoted me a price that was more than double what Dale quoted. I liked Mr. Rooter has standard pricing instead of relying on how much effort they think it would take. Dale and his team finished in two hours and so far, so good. They cleaned up after themselves and we were very happy Dale knew exactly what to do.

Romeo and his team saved us THOUSANDS on repairs. It all started with some clogged toilets. We called Beacon to get a diagnostic on what the issue is, assuming there was just a clog in the pipes. As it turns out, we had a crack in our sewer pipe. What made it worse, is they detected the crack under our concrete patio and rocks were rapidly flooding in, causing blockage. Originally, the quote was upwards of $15K. We managed to hire an outside concrete removal service to gain access to the pipe under the patio, and Romeo and his team came back to repair the leak. Little did we know, there was a SECOND crack in the pipe several feet down from the original crack…. Our repairs were now closer to $25K. Romeo found a different solution to the repair so we wouldn’t have to cut another 4’x4’ square in our patio, which ultimately saved us thousands. He worked diligently for eight hours straight to rectify the issue and get us back to normal by the end of the night. With two little ones, we didn’t have the time or the money to spend on brand new sewer lines. I greatly appreciate his empathy and expertise. I would highly recommend Beacon Plumbing based on Romeo’s professionalism alone. Thank you SO much for saving the day, Romeo! I’ve stopped freakin’ and called Beacon.

We have never been treated so poorly by any company before. Our pipe bursted in July of 2021 and they still haven’t completed their job. They charged us $25k because it was an emergency and took their sweet time to fix the pipe. Not only did they miss 2 of their appointments without any notice, they also made a mistake packing the giant hole they dug up in our front yard. 4 months after the job was done the area they dug up sunk about half a foot. I wrote them 2 emails about a week apart and got ignored. I called and spoke to the most condescending and demeaning manager ever. Mark said, “honey I have about 25 other emails I’m working on.” After about 10 minutes of explaining the situation to him he finally scheduled us a date for someone to come fix the area. We took the day off work and no one showed up again. Finally someone came out on a different day but unfortunately 2 months after that it sunk 4 inches. I emailed them again and they said to wait until the rainy season is over. It is July and they have been ignoring all my emails since May. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with this company.

Sean R was OUTSTANDING! He came here for a completely unrelated repair (shower faucet) and he discovered that the exhaust pipe from my tankless water heater had partially melted. I had no idea as it sits high in my garage. Thanks to his excellent observation skills, he prevented a major fire from starting because of the hot exhaust gas that had been blowing on my now discolored drywall. He ended up installing a brand new water heater and his workmanship was flawless. If you ever have plumbing issues, call Beacon and ask for Sean because you’re not going to find a more professional and competent plumber out there!! Thanks Sean R!!

Jesus and Liam came on a Saturday afternoon only 30 minutes after I called the office. They gave me a bid with two good options, promptly completed the work and cleaned up after themselves. I’m so happy they helped me out today!

Sean R. from Beacon Plumbing was able to replace my cracked hose bib in less than 45 minutes. He was prompt, concise and efficient. Sean was very knowledgeable and informative. We hope that Sean will always be dispatched to us if we have another plumbing issue. “Stop Freakin’ Call Sean (with Beacon).”
