a year agoWe had a great stay here. It is exactly as advertised and was even nicer in person. Ross greeted us upon arrival, showed us around the apartment, how to use everything and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was clean, spacious and had great little decorative touches in each room. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking utensils you’d need and there was plenty of coffee for the mornings. The laundry room was a nice touch after spending hours and hours birding outside around Tucson. The location is nice and in a safe area with plenty of restaurants and other conveniences. I highly recommend staying at Loretta Guest Quarters. We felt right at home.2 years agoWe had a great experience at this Airbnb! Ross was a very hospitable host. He was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and offered great recommendations. The apartment was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. There were also many amenities and special touches within the apartment that were very nice! Ross really puts in the effort to make you feel welcomed and at home! It was a great value and close to so much. We were in Tucson on personal business and my check in time had changed slightly (within the check in period). Ross was so patient and understanding. It was great meeting him in person. We would definitely recommend/stay at his place any time!2 years agoWe absolutely loved our stay in Ross’s spotless, comfortable and elegant apartment. Ross accommodated us at short notice and was communicative and helpful. Crisp white linen, lovely Molten Brown toiletries and all the basics on offer to make your stay an easy one. Generous beverages, great laundry facilities and a designated parking spot. A beautiful place to stay. Don’t think twice! Thank you for hosting us Ross, we’ll be back!4 years agoAll the reviews about Ross and his apartment are spot on! Ross showed up promptly for our check in, explained everything we needed to know about the apartment, the nearby restaurants and suggestions for things to do. The apartment was spotless, had every amenity you could think of! Loved the media room, the recliners were so comfy! Felt very safe in the neighborhood. Off-street parking a plus. Adorable garden in the back. Highly recommend Ross’ place. Will definitely stay again when in the area.2 years agoOur stay at Ross’s place was really exceptional. We are fairly seasoned Airbnb guests and this place was great! Bed was amazing, towels were plush. Everything was so clean and well stocked. There is a coin operated washer and dryer but Ross provided quarters and detergent which I think is a really nice touch. It is also very conveniently located to stores and restaurants. All places should be this wonderful.

a month agoWe stayed in the La Vie en Rose (Life in Roses) suite at the Mon Ami (My Friend) Bed & Breakfast for four nights in Tucson while visiting my husband’s family. We were so happy that we chose to stay here!The suite was very nice with a king bed, a large private tiled bathroom, two closets and a nice sitting area with a couch and two chairs around a fireplace. There’s a small refrigerator in the bathroom which has a small freezer area. There were nice small extras such as shampoo, conditioner, kleenex and large, fluffy towels, extra pillows and blankets, lots of clothes hangers and a desk at which you can work. The wifi was very fast as my husband worked from there and had no problems being online and attending Teams meetings.
Pat, the owner/hostess, was very helpful with directions and gave me a suggestion for my morning walk. She served us breakfast each morning in her beautiful yard- complete with hummingbirds and flowering bushes. The breakfasts were delicious- we always had fruit and some sort of bread (croissants, bread, scones) as our first course and each day, we had different entrees such as omelettes, quiche, and puff pancakes. All were amazing, and Pat has led a very interesting life and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations during breakfast each day!
If you are looking for an alternative to a hotel, you should definitely check out Mon Ami B&B. You will not be disappointed!
2 weeks agoNeeded time out for myself. Decided to stay locally for my vacation. 2 miles from home seems like 2000. The place is wonderful and a beautiful room. Pat is a wonderful host. Was going to stay only 2 days. But that got extended. And what can I say about breakfast. I’ll leave you hanging in suspense. Wonderful and relaxing time just what I needed.12 months agoWe enjoyed our stay here very much! The room is spacious, comfortable and very quiet. There is private access to the room which opens into a lovely garden. Breakfast is delicious and the chef is wonderful company! Will definitely stay here again 🙂a year agoVery comfortable room with access to tranquil yard with dessert flowers and lemon and pomegranate trees. We could sit there for hours. Breakfasts were gourmet quality but never too heavy. This is a small b&b so usually one other couple to converse with at breakfast. We would stay at Mon Ami againa year agoSuch a unique awesome experience. You are right in the heart of town and yet it is so quiet and peaceful. There is a pool that feels like a private oasis. Delicious breakfast- I’ve traveled to Paris and Pat’s baguettes- SOOOO GOOD!! Host is so accommodating! Looking for an excuse to go back. Does NOT disappoint…

The room was nice. Attempting to leave the parking area, the gate would not open. Calls, texts, and emails since 4am went unanswered! I missed breakfast with my sister, while the other guest missed his flight. Around 10am, a guest managed to disable the gate motor, push the gate open and allow us to leave. A text message came at 10:26am saying “sorry” – their phone system was down, and that a repair tech was on his way.
Not having anyone on site and the inability to reach anyone for hours was inexcusable!

I loved just hanging out on the patio as the sun went down. In the morning watching the birds in the fountain taking their baths. Drinking a cup of coffee. I will differently stay here and plan on staying here in the future.
Stayed in the Persian Room. The room was clean, nicely decorated and spacious. Bed was big and comfortable. Bathroom had bathtub and shower. A fridge in the closest. There was good storage space in the form of drawers. The closet was less easy to use due to the small fridge. Very cute and welcoming courtyard. Good space for parking. Would recommend!
This is our favorite weekend getaway location, amazing staff, great prices, clean and lovely theme rooms and a beautiful courtyard to relax in. The location can be a bit hard to find, but once you get the hang of it you’re within walking distance of everything you need downtown and a short drive to just about anywhere else. Thank you all from the Haynes family.
I can’t begin to explain how pleased I am with our stay at El Amador. From the gorgeous rooms, to the excellent customer service, our stay was great from the moment we checked in.
Driving from CA, our car broke down 5 miles from our destination. The staff at El Amador was so accommodating as we attempted to figure out tow truck situations from their property and when we thought we might have to stay another night, the gentleman who checked us in was able to offer an extended night even though they were booked up!
While we did not end up needing the extra night, it just meant the world that they put in the effort to help us out. All in all, our stay was the least stressful part of this trip and for that I am so grateful. Not to mention they’re conveniently placed close to downtown, without being right in the hustle bustle.
If we ever find ourselves in Tucson again, I’ll definitely be staying here!
