  1. Cheyenne absolutely loved our trip to PetSmart in Pooler, GA. She shopped for Halloween costumes and toys. For a minute there she thought she was a cat and ended up on the cat aisle. Although she didn’t come home with those items, she did find her favorite food lamb and rice by Authority. It was a great trip as she got a lot of attention. lol

  2. My experience with Dana at the Pooler Petsmart grooming salon was extremely positive – she, along with the rest of the groomers/bathers were very friendly and knowledgeable. The grooming of my dog was just as I had wanted. I have a bernedoodle with high anxiety around people he does not know but Dana went very slow with him and was very kind and gentle.

  3. PetSmart is a great place to go and the groomers have been awesome. A recent policy change meant that due to my dogs grade 1 heart murmur he cannot be taken in for services unless provided a note from the vet. No issues there! However, he has been seen by these groomers for some time and it never seemed to occur to PetSmart grooming to call and update me of this policy. Seems useless to show up the day of and be told your dog can’t be taken in. They have these health questionnaires and at the minimum I would have expected a call prior to service saying that grooming would not be possible unless a note was provided.

  4. It’s not as big as the petsmarts that I’m use to. There aquarium sections are not as vast as other petsmart locations I’ve visited in the past. Workers are nice and helpful. Great place for dog owners and freshwater fish but saltwater aquarium hobbyists should not look forward to coming here

    Very Friendly Staff, but often they are out of feeder crickets, which is what I feed my bearded dragon for protein. So it’s good to be prepared and maybe call first if you plan on buying those to make sure they have them. Also, I was hoping to find a dewormer for my bearded dragon but they don’t carry that either. They do, however, have live bearded dragons you can buy from the store. Overall a great store but lacking when it comes to reptile pet care, especially for bearded dragons, which they ironically sell.

    Good selection. Neat and organized store. However they are often out of stock on items I’m looking for and the prices are high. I also think they could have a better reward system for loyal customers. I have spent a lot of money in that store for many years and can’t remember getting a coupon or discount offer for anything.

    I booked an appointment 4 weeks ago in the pet grooming salon and I go regularly (every 4 weeks) for my baby girl. I went in at my regularly scheduled appointment time and spoke with Candice who said she canceled my appointment . I take the day off to bring in my dog. Huge inconvenience and I am upset! I wish I could give them 0 stars 🌟.

    I asked them to bathe my dog because he may have brushed up against poison ivy and I didn’t want it to get on people (he was fine, but the oil might be on his coat, I wasn’t sure.) They told me they could not give him any type of shampoo to help, although there are many shampoos for this purpose. They put in absolutely no effort at all to help me. I suppose if you have a standard bathing, they will do the job, but if you need their help with anything, you should not expect any.

    Very clean and organized petsmart. Staff is very helpful. Carry almost everything i need for my animals from no legs to four legs Adoption events are amazing also.

    They do a good Community Service. My Son got his dog Thorne there back in 2017. She had a hard time adjusting from being a street dog but with patience and love she is great now.

    I took my Pomeranian here and had his neuter appointment at 9. Took a min to get him checked in and it was a little unorganized but overall the surgery went well! He is recovering and do quite well.

    My daughter and I really enjoy being able to volunteer here on Saturdays. It is an excellent place to get community service hrs for students. We have adopted 2 dogs and a cat from here and the staff have been Nothing but professional and helpful in all of our dealings here if you love animals please stop in and check out the animals here and consider adopting or fostering from here.

    Racist and disrespectful booking employee for animal surrender. booked for an appointment for surrender due to pet not having anywhere to go employee that book’s appointments was very disrespectful during phone call and was not compassionate towards the situation of my pet not having anywhere to go. Heartless and would not even let me speak during phone conversation. Thought he was so right the whole time and knew everything when he didn’t know anything about what was going on. Please find someone more compassionate to work in this department because it’s VERY OBVIOUS that this guy isn’t. He Was very aggressive and rude and was indirectly sayin we don’t want your dog take him somewhere else very disrespectful. Proceeded to say they had space then switched up saying they didn’t at the last minute with attitude. Plz fire him and Plz think twice when considering this place for your pet!!
