- Reviews:Charles in the aquatics section was amazing and answered all of my annoying questions. He advised me on the best practices for acclimating them into my existing tank as well. When I decide to add new fish to my tank I’ll for sure come back.By Natalie Cruz (3 weeks ago)Great staff of employees and the vets. Very attentive and attended me on time. Vaccine shots for my dog where standard price. Will go again for grooming and update.By Luis Infante (2 weeks ago)This store always completely cancels BOPUS orders shortly after they are placed instead of refunding only the items that are not available due to their system’s inventory error. I tried on four separate occasions. Order online for pickup from Larchmont, Hartsdale, or Mt Vernon instead. Update: Tried again 5 days after Owner replied to see if any corrective action was actually taken and my BOPUS order attempt was fully cancelled again. This location is either severely understaffed, staffed by the lazy and incompetent, or has a completely unreliable inventory record. Don’t waste your time with this Petco location.By Angela A (in the last week)What rude and obnoxious clerks and management. I was prepared to spend $100+, and waited 15 min. for a clerk to be free only to be told I was standing in the wrong line. The lady who happened to be standing in the correct line told the clerk that he should take me,because she knew I was there first. He refused. Fortunately there was a Pet Smart .5 miles away and I found and bought everything I was looking for. I will NEVER USE petco again.By Dorinda Rulle (a month ago)This Petco is absolutely disgusting. The way they treat the fish is horrible. The workers do not care at all. Honestly it’s crazy to me how popular pet stores, such as Petco don’t even care about animals!By brianna bock (4 months ago)

- Reviews:We had the BEST experience with the staff at the Humane Society of Westchester. They gave us an appointment the day after filling out the application, their listed pets online were all up to date so we didn’t fall in love with an already unavailable pet, the facilities are great, the pets all seem so well taken care of, and the staff felt like they all knew the animals individually to help pair us with the perfect cat. They let us spend as much time as we needed to find and bond with the each cat, and once we found our girl, sent us home with a whole bag of goodies. They also offer free first vet visits with affiliated vets in westchester, and offer to pay for any medications your pet might need from that first appointment. Our vet told us they took great care of our girl for the three weeks she was off the streets, and her spay healed perfectly. After stressful and frustrating experiences with other shelters across Manhattan & Brooklyn, HS of Westchester changed my entire view of adopting, and I’ll be recommending them to anyone who’ll listen. Thank you for everything!By Emily Pracher (3 months ago)This is our second time adopting a cat from the Humane Society of Westchester. It is never a bad experience although now you need an appointment, they don’t do walk ins anymore. The staff is very friendly and patient. They are really passionate about finding good homes for all of their animals.By Julissa Mercogliano (3 weeks ago)First time cat owner and so happy I decided to adopt. The staff was so kind and helpful. Answered all my questions and found me my perfect cat match, Stu ❤️By Julissa Merlo (4 months ago)I had been given a stray kitten to get him off the streets and he needed a pal…I went there and found him a brother and luckily they became fast friends… staff couldn’t have been nicer!!! I’m not sure they do spay and neuter if you don’t adopt from them though. That was included in the adoption fee. The other portion of the adoption fee was returned once the procedure was complete. Here the boys are one year later ????By Tracy Ronnermann (3 months ago)This place was super helpful when I lost my dog Gypsi. She is still missing gray husky mixed with a German shepherd. She has two colored eyes.By Ericka Santana (3 months ago)

Cat/ Dog Owner- There’s a stigma regarding pet stores, and this PetSmart breaks all of them. Smells great, has friendly staff, incredible dog trainer (Chris Brown).
Dog Training: If you’re debating purchasing a package… don’t.
I’ve worked hard on training my three-month-old puppy, and although I felt I could do everything on my own through videos, apps, and books… Chris is on another level. Not only does he help train your dog, but he also helps you understand the “why?” behind everything that you do. His attention to detail and hands-on approach make the training session so impactful in such little time. People pay thousands for sessions like these. I’m in awe of the price point and efficiency PetSmart and Chris offer.
I was appalled leaving this location today. I went to purchase fish for the fish tank at my school and I could not believe the amount of dead fish that were floating in the tank. The staff were not friendly, the establishment was dirty and the cashier was cursing at her boyfriend on a full-on phone call while ringing me up. I truly feel sorry for the animals that are supposed to be “cared for” at this location.
Used to be decently well kept, but it’s gone downhill recently. Fish tanks are always empty or covered in algae, place feels emptier, and supplies are more expensive
Great selection of pet goods. Very nice & helpful staff. Only issue is there seems to always be only 1 register open even when a long line is building.
Aaliyah cashier -767615 was so kind , professional and helpful. Wish all cashiers were nice like her.
