  2. This is the only pet store I have found to have a wide variety of cat food and cat treats.I had a hard time finding cat food that was not pate. My cats will not eat that type of food. The employees are really friendly and polite. The pets up for adoption are well looked after and cared for. I highly recommend anyone who had the same problem as I did, or are just looking for a variety of any type of pet food to check this store out. This store was the one on Derry St Harrisburg. By the Home Depot. 🐈.

  3. Took my Honey to get groomed today. She’s 10 and I’ve attempted to do it myself…. not so good lol. They gave her a bath and groomed her so beautifully! Great job ladies! We’ll be back in 6 to 8 weeks!

  4. I take my dog here for teeth brushing, bathe and nail cut. We had a big problem with my dog not wanting to go in with them because of his fear, but The groomers Sam and Ashton were nice and tried to help as much as they can. I like them all

  5. We stopped in 5 minutes before close; and our cashier was friendly and understanding. It’s refreshing to find customer service without a negative attitude!

    ***Update: They have since called me and replaced my Seresto Collar for my Duchess which was really awesome!!! Thank you so much for that HSHA. Definitely upping the stars. I have been disappointed by the Humane Society recently and just had to collect my pup from there. The Vet staff was charming, but they removed her $60 Seresto collar and put a topical solution on her, stating the eight-month collars didn’t work as well as their three-month solution. I switched her from topical to a collar because she was allergic 🙄. Unfortunately, I did NOT get my collar back. Then they gave her several vaccination shots, and she just had shots. I did not like that. Someone left my gate open. Otherwise, I would never have returned there. As it is, I am grateful for the safe space for my Duch, but I am out my $60 collar plus their fees. The upside to this experience, it was not expensive to retrieve her, Duchess was in a safe space, and my dog did not have to stay longer than a few hours.

    The vet helps me take care of both of my elder dog with care and compassion. Informative and precise. Their entire staff should be commended. I am very, very pleased.

    To the folks complaining about this location. Especially when it comes to the fish. Did you ever think about taking your water and getting it tested first? They do free testing at the location. It’s very irritating reading the reviews on here especially when the folks don’t do the research first let alone find out whether or not their water quality meets the requirements for the fish you’re purchasing. Not every fish and not every tank is the same. Some of the ignorant comments are on call for. The owner and her employees work so hard to maintain these precious animals. So before you come into the store to purchase anything you may want to educate yourself and what you’re getting. And if you don’t know they are more than willing to help you and answer any questions you may have. And if they don’t know the answer they can always and will always direct you to your appropriate source of information required for what you need. I hope this helps people before they go into their location and give bad reviews without knowing anything. I want to take the time to thank everyone at the store you’ve been great to me and my children. No one’s perfect but at least you folks take the time to help us.

    I like this place a lot. It is a bit overpriced but that’s expected in a small pet shop like this. The pets seem fairly well taken care of. However, we ended up with a male and female rat instead of two males. They were kept together at the pet store and were labeled as male. We didn’t know one was female until we realized she was pregnant 2 days before she had the babies. We called and were told “male rats can pull their parts inside them so we can’t tell if they’re a male or female.” One rat had obvious male parts and the other was obviously a female.

    Its great that they help the SPCA, which is why we went in the first place. Tried to get help and everyone was too busy to be of service. So kudos for helping the SPCA, but if your staff can’t help out you will lose business. We waited for 20 minutes and asked several employees but no one ever came.

    I got rats here awhile ago and was told they were both male and kept them together like they were when I got them… I ended up with 16 rats in the matter of a month and a financial/emotional nightmare as a full-time student who was set to take care of just two. I am at a point where I am probably going to end up having to surrender them which was the last thing I wanted to do.

    Loved all the different animals. staff is very knowledgeable. Prices I feel are affordable when it comes to aquarium products. Very clean place as well.
