What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. What an amazing experience!! We saw rocket (the dog) online and had to come and see him. I brought in my 3 year old aussie Yeti and they were allowed to play and interact in the other room. 1 month later and I honestly couldn’t be happier. Yeti and Rocket (now renamed to Jack) are best friends. He sleeps under the blanket and right next to you all night long. He already knew how to sit, lay, and was also potty trained. Good environment with good people! Love you all and thanks for all you do!

  2. Adopted this beauty! BRIAR took some intense, attentive work to get her to respond and follow commands, but now she is spot on with verbal and non-verbal commands. She was listed as dog aggressive, but in all actuality, she is the opposite! She just appears that way. She is amazing with other dogs (loving and inseparable from her smaller older brother) super gentle, playful and patient with puppies and absolutely adores children. She just needed love and guidance. She does have a list of medical issues, but is living her best life!!!! Now she is Queen of the South!!

  3. Wonderful Pets Hotel/Shelter & Adoption Center💙❤️💚🤎🖤💛
My 2 English Springer Spaniels stayed here for free for a couple nights because I had to have major back surgery and I’m very poor so they were a big help! This place will care for your family fur babies up to 10 days and you can rest assure they are in great hands here! Foothills will care for most animals & breeds🐕🐈🐎🐖🐇🦔🐑🐦🐢🦅
Thank you again Foothills Animal Shelter for your love & support caring for my babies! 💞 🕊

  4. I had a great experience here adopting Eclair! She is such a sweet girl and seems like shes loving it here. All of the staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated Emily’s help telling us about a cat we were thinking about. Overall great experience!

  5. The staff were very efficient, professional and knowledgeable, making the adoption process smooth. They knew details about each candidate and were clear on issues that I might expect. I chose a returned adoption misfit with a long “rap sheet” knowing what I needed to do to be successful. Fortunately, I am able to prevent separation anxiety issues that the prior adopters faced (which admittedly they probably would not have been aware of with a stray with no history) because I am retired and he is 24/7 with me. Good for the shelter for how they handled the situation. I know the breed and am able to accommodate the demands. The staff allowed meet and greet with my other dog and my great-granddaughters to assure compatability and safety. Overall, I highly recommend this facility. Their behavioral evaluation process and adoption process is in the best interest of the dog and their adoptive parents. Thank you!!

Wonderful place if you’re serious about fostering or adopting. My boyfriend and I have have adopted 2 beautiful cats from here and they’re so amazing. Nothing like other shelters, the cats are given loads of space to roam and you really get to see how they interact with other cats. They take great care of the cats and keep everything clean and organized, all the staff are kind. Definitely adopting from here again!

Adopted our Pumpkin (tabby) there she is very loved @ her new home. They really care about their animals. Fast and friendly employees had us out of there as far as they could once we picked the right cat for our home. She is a perfect fit for us. We are so happy, thank you. Our princess is loving her new family too!

Both of my girls, along with my wife and I, have always appreciated the Cat Care Society. Donating to these Feline’s in need always makes our day! Drop by with some food and needed supplies, then spend some time with the cats is a joy! Kudos for the efforts for this organization! We will always be supporters!

Adopted 2 adorable kitten brothers from this shelter in March ‘23. I do love how kittens go to first come first served. It was also humorous when a lady was clearly irked that I had selected the cat she wanted, but I did arrive at 10:30 to land my spot in line. They had one of the cats I adopted listed as a female…but definitely male. I don’t care about the fact that Mars is a boy, but it may be frustrating for some, so make sure you check before if that’s important to you. I took the kittens to the vet shortly after adoption and they had bordetella (normal for shelter kitties to have that). They also came back positive for FCV (feline calicivirus), so that can come back periodically, but, that’s not the end of the world. Adoption fees would have to be significantly higher if we wanted them to test for everything before adoption. So I understand why that was an unknown. After 10 days of antibiotics, they were back to being healthy little kittens! They have been the absolute perfect additions to our family! Sweet, kind, playful, great with people, and adapted well to our dog. When I’m ready for new kittens in 15+ years, I’ll definitely check with the Cat Care Society again.

The best place in town if you are thinking of getting a cat. I got my buddy pepper from here! They also cover your first vet visit up to $250!!! They take great care of their cats so by the time your furry little friend comes home with you, they are well trained and you are educated in their needs allowing you to be the best cat parent possible! They even chip your cat for free, plus they do full medical exams routinely so that the cat you choose doesn’t throw you an unexpected vet bill blind siding you. I’m so happy I got my pepper (my cat) from here.

I visited this place a few times. I wanted a cat but was not sure what I was looking for. After a few visits something clicked. I took two cats home. The staff was polite and helpful. Now I am in love. Great pets. Im very happy. If you want a cat you should definitely stop by. The perrfect cat might be here waiting for you. You never know unless you stop and say hi. The cats come ready to be a pet. They just need love and vet visits on the regular after adoptions.

A wonderful place, me and my partner had been looking at pets for a couple weeks. We stopped at Angels with Paws because they had a Siamese listed which are largely hypoallergenic (perfect for my partner who’s allergic). They were very kind, let’s us meet all the cats who were ready to be seen. It’s a small place but you can definitely the passion of the people there. We met a cat we wanted to take home on the spot, they gave us information on him and even an adoption stater kit that came with litter, snacks, food, and a wonderful plush blanket that our cat now loves to sleep on. It’s definitely a great place and would absolutely recommend it for people looking to adopt a cat.

I have been looking into adopting my first cat and had the worst time trying to find cats in any shelter in January. There was little literally none in the few handful I looked into, my friend/coworker took me to this place and they have the most cats I have seen since I’ve been looking. They have the most beautiful and handsome cats! I looked around enjoying the cat heaven I was in an fell in love with this beautiful girl that stole my heart the moment we looked at each other 😍. I was informed she was a shy cat an that some shy cats do get looked over just because of that reason. She was shy for the first week but with time and patience she came out of her shy shell and is a girl who loves her string toy and her ball toys! I highly recommend going here as your first choice on adopting!

We visit often to give some much wanted love and pets to these great kitties! I’ve actually had to bring a rascally kitten here as he was a bit to much for my family. But we came to see him every week to check up on him. And when any of the cats get sick, they get treated with care and love. The older cats are so awesome here as well, and deserve loving homes !! Please come and adopt today. 🐱🥰🐱 If I had a big giant house! All these cats would live there ! Hahahaha. Thanks so much for all you do here guys. We will be soon adopting a kitten from here as well, Wich were super excited about. See you soon!

This is where we got our kitty Daisy. The place is wonderful. The people are wonderful and helpful. They take very good care of the kitties that aren’t up to par. My husband passed away December 2022, and I am so thankful that I have Daisy. When I picked her up, she had been chipped and vaccinated. So please support this wonderful place for kitty fur babies.
