  1. This place is very inconsistent in their food. Just a week apart I had their fried rice. It was good. So good I went back the following week for the same fried rice but the waiter took the wrong order which is fine but the chef served half a tomato without slicing and burnt soup. Yes you CAN burn soup. The reason there’s a star is because the supervisor was very polite and provided me with an apology discount.

  3. secret recipe is well known for their tasty cakes. this one strategically located in seberang jaya and easily reached with accessible parking lots. sadly, the portion of the cakes are getting smaller but the price is getting pricier. there are plenty of staff but less communication and attentiveness. overall still tasty cakes.

    pros : tasty cakes, always a few promotions going on
    cons : staff could be friendlier, smile more please. the furniture is kind of old

  5. When i arrived, there was no customers other than us two.

    I was served by male staff that brought our drinks as shown in the image. Thought he would go & take a wet small towel to wipe it out but he didnt. Not even a sorry after placing the drinks too. Hence drinking it cause the coffee drops onto places, smh.

    The coffee had no arts on top as per display on menu since they had no barista.

    The aircond was broken so it was quite uncomfortable throughout the dining. Some menu arent available without them crossing it out in the menu book.

    The cashier is friendly and attentive, give us her recommendation as we are first time coming to this outlet. The place quite cosy with simple decor. We ordered kakigori, dan taiyaki which both were delicious. The taiyaki served piping hot and we neutral it with the coldness and sweetness of the soft kakigori shaved ice. Parking quite challenging and parking tips, it is advisable to use Penang Smart Parking app to pay for your parking. We definitely come back for our dessert fix.

    The desserts were good and friendly staff. The shop itself was very simple without much decoration. A good place to hangout with friends but not so much for a photo session.

    The ambience is super nice. The cashier are so friendly. She will guide the first timer customer to choose the menu. The red bean taiyaki is served hot. Taste like a red bean wrapped in paratha. Crispy on the outside.

    last week birthday, original card was lost so deceided to have a new one and charged for RM5. cashier said within birthday week can have 30% discount once u brought your member card. she mentioned no need Ic is okay. second visit within birthday week, cashier give 5% discount instead of 30%. After checked only i realised the cashier didnt discount for me. When i asked again, they said if you didnt show IC then no birthday discount but last week they didnt mention also. does this count as a scam? And how come u didnt even remind ur customer to show their IC??? after the cashier waste a lot of time only i found out that there was a small paper wrote *show ic for birthday discount*, whoch was hide behind all your products advertisements. nice pastry and dessert, just worse staff. they looked like i owed them a hundred million . ^^
