What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I love Kroger and I have been shopping there all of my life. However while this location is nice and it has potential it’s a shame such great store doesn’t have functional restrooms! One of them was locked with an out of order sign and they other one was very difficult to flush. Not to mention the unsanitary condition of the entire restroom. I also disagree with unisex restrooms, males and females unfortunately have different requirements and needs. Hence part of the unsanitary conditions. They should consider men and women’s with a changing table and child’s chair in both.

Besides my regular grocery shopping, I’m also at some Kroger at least 2-3 times a week to pick up a salad, sushi or something from the deli for lunch. The hot meal was good but the sushi didn’t taste fresh. They also had very limited options of salads and other. They don’t have any type of complimentary condiments or cutlery to consume the items that they’re selling you.

Lastly, the self checkout register settings are not properly installed as I scanned each one of my items, 9 in total, the system kept repeating to make sure I scanned all the items before bagging them in high volume but when I turned around for assistance after the third item the lady looked at me and kept going with her day.

  2. I have grown to really dislike this place. It gets worse and worse every day. There are never any cashiers and if there is there is only one. I have checked out with $300 worth of groceries in the self check multiple times. Then have to pause every few items because the machine is horrible.

The restrooms are always disgusting. Half the time the coupons don’t work. The cashier gets irritated when you insist on using a valid coupon.

I quit using their curbside delivery because its horrible and takes forever.

  3. The self check out machines do not work well and then when you ask for help some of the staff are significantly rude. An older European woman with glasses and an African American younger woman with braids and color contacts had a horrible attitude when I needed help at self check out. I was helped with aggression from the African American woman. I was so disappointed in their lack of assistance. I was also ignored for several minutes as they watched me and stood and conversed amounts themselves. Items are great though.

  4. I’m providing a 1* review based on the state of the restrooms. Multiple times over the past year or so, the restrooms have been disgusting. Primarily the Men’s. This has been an issue to the point my husband does not have a place to take our young (less than 4) daughter potty if he has her while grocery shopping.

  5. This is a pretty nice Kroger. It has deli, bakery, meat, produce, and a pharmacy. In these specialty areas, the workers, nice, knowledgeable, and tidy. The way that the store really falls down is with the front of the house and at customer service. The managers are the main reason, from what I have assessed, that makes this store is a failure.

You can expect one register to be open and 12 self checkout stations. This is ridiculous. Basically, they expect the consumer to do everything their self as if it was an Aldi’s. If Kroger is going to this format, then they need to let the public know. Basically, on this visit, there was one middle-aged employee left to do all the work with no bagger. There were two other associates on their cell phone manning the self service. The senior citizens, at 10:00 AM, were expected to do a self check out. This is sooo disrespectful! This wasn’t 10 at night, but 10AM!

The poor associate, that was left to do all the work without a bagger, called for a manager for 10 minutes. She had to leave her station. Then manager came for 30 seconds and left. He saw the line, and obviously thinks nothing of his customers. He uses, for this associate, sympathy to get the customers to do all the work bagging.

I actually hadn’t visited the store for two months, because in the summertime, they leave the teenagers to run the front of the house. They are.very rude. One time, I observed a teenager, shrugging off an upset customer. The managers did nothing of course.

It’s sad and It’s unfair that the customers have to go elsewhere for their groceries, because of this store.
