2 months agoAll self checkout now. Most shopping baskets are broken, they no longer have the brown hand held baskets, they charge for cash back. I could keep going but you get the picture. Ok to use like a conviene store if you just need milk or bread. I’ll stick with H‑E‑B across the street.4 months agoI was a little upset because I ordered my groceries and went to get them and they said they did not have the boneless pork chops. I asked if they were substituted since I didn’t get a text or anything and she said no, so I had to go back into the store for pork chops. 🙄2 months agoJasmin is absolutely rude, this whole pharmacy is terrible, I have never had good customer service here. There is no communication either.7 months agoEach week when the sales change, this particular location only changes out about 2/3 of their signage for the new sale. This causes people to go to the register thinking that they’re getting a certain price and they end up paying much much more. I’ve mentioned this too at least three of the employees and they don’t seem to really care that they have the wrong prices throughout the store which basically constitutes false advertising. This is something that happens at least once a week and I’m beginning to get very frustrated over it5 years agoLove this place, affordable grocery shopping. I mostly get my energy drinks from here. Monsters, Rockstar, NOS…. Etc always at a cheap price. Also Kroger products is amazing and affordable. Great place!

in the last weekThe staff make this location exceptional. I actually live very much closer to another location but still shop here! I have lived in league city long enough that the other two nearby locations on 96 didn’t exist years ago. This is my favorite. The staff are why I return. I don’t experience the same friendliness at the other locations. I will forever shop here!a week agoWe only shop here when necessary but not anymore. The other night on my way home I would have had to drive past this grocery store and my house to get to a preferred store so I stopped in for a couple things. I let my guard down and made it home with expired items. I’m not talking a couple days I’m talking over a MONTH! If the smell isn’t enough to deter you from shopping here, then check everything. Check the dates on products, smell the meat, give the produce a twice over. Or better yet – just DON’T SHOP HERE. You’ll only end up bringing home expired food to your family.a month agoI want to give big shout out to Barbara In customer service. I left my wallet in the cart and left. I realized what I did about 10 later. I called the store and Barbara looked for it and found it. There are still good people in the world we live.3 months agoIf I could do a one percent of a star I would. I placed a delivery order. The items were replaced without authorization and one the items were expired by months and two and most importantly im deadly allergic to the ingredients, call Kroger and they said oh sorry it was by a 3rd party we can’t help you. Then they said call the Egret bay . Then I called the store manager at 250 S Egret Bay and I was bounce four people manager was rude and said sorry we can’t help and hang up on me. The store would not take the items at their store either cause it was delivery. You see delivery or not it came from your store that you represent (Kroger) and you should be able to refund the customer specially when I have a receipt. And specially when I’m deadly to what was delivered to me and in top is expired by months .5 months agoPlaced an online order for $350 (have 4 kids) with the Kroger App for delivery. We are Kroger + loyalty members. For some reason the driver filled the order at this location. Next thing we know we were notified it was delivered and charged, yet never received our groceries. Called Kroger customer support and they said it would be 7-10 days to investigate. Then I called the store manager at 250 S Egret Bay and he was completely unempathetic. He could have used his power as the store manager to correct the wrong and promote Kroger as caring about their customers. Instead he blamed Kroger’s 3rd part delivery service and refused to do a thing. I placed a BBB complaint against Kroger. I will also be escalating this to a legal matter with Kroger if not resolved.

I love this store…was here on a visit from Florida, want to take this grocery store back with me. Huge store, soooo many items you would not expect to see in a grocery store…open late for last minute needs!!
Rude staff. Fewer options and higher prices than H‑E‑B. No comparison. The real problem here is that they refuse to open checkout lanes but will let you stand in line for 29 minutes for the self checkout while they stand there and look at you instead of doing something helpful. Guess I will wait for my W-2 to come in the mail since I’m a part time grocery store employee checking myself out at Kroger.
Did a curbside pickup and the man who helped load my care was of great care of the items and was amazing to chat with!
