- Reviews:Stay away! I was quoted $3200 based on another’s plumbers observation of a slab leak. Brooks sent three men who didn’t speak one word of English. These men started digging, basically blind. They Found nothing. They began digging in another spot. Found nothing. Finally an English speaking person arrived who may have actually been a licensed plumber. They dug in yet another spot. The English speaking man told us that, based on airflow tests, he now knew where the leak was and they’d need to drill through the bathroom floor. They drilled and drilled. Nothing. Next thing I knew, they were back outside digging again. Then he announced that there had been two leaks and that we owed $6,8800. Notice the photo of the pipe; the hole is from the outside in, as if someone took a nail to it. A leak would be from the inside out. It’s not smart business (actually it’s lazy business! to rely on the findings of another company instead of doing your own due diligence. If there had been two leaks, they should have been pointed out. Again, I have had other plumbers confirm that the hole in the one pipe we were shown is not consistent with a leak.By Pam England (a year ago)After our water bill had gotten substantially more expensive, I wanted to check to see if we had a leak. Louis was here on the same day, and earlier than they even estimated. Louis checked our sewer drainage for leaks and did a pressure check. Thankfully, nothing was found and we are now waiting on a response from the city to see where the problem lies. As always, this was a great experience with Brooks Plumbing. Guy was cool and repaired the leak around my sink drain. Not cheap, but came with a one year warranty. You get what pay for. Sometimes anyway. Would use again.
