- Reviews:We told they would install Furnace within 3 days it took them 10 days in the midst of the worst freeze in the US history. I ended up with frozen and busted pipes because there was no heat in the house. the day they decided to install the furnace they bombarded my cell with calls for 2 hours while I was in bed to collect a non covered payment. I will be contacting the better business bureau soon Paid $755 for non cover warranty and they would only replace the furnace not the A coil plus $100 for service call. plus the warranty which is $1400 plus for 2 years. New Furnace costs $1500 including the A coil and with installation so I gave them $2255 whereas I could have sent $1500 and saved over $700 When they called(10 times ) started at 8 AM they gave me 0 notice and were very rude and told me that they’re policy was to collect payment first before installing the unit, I called a week before that and volunteered to pay but was told by the manager that payment can be made after installation… I paid for the best warranty according to the regional sales person. Obviously it didn’t cover punch of things one of them was the flue pipe which I was charged $755 for a simple pipe. The tech installed it 30 minutes They also told me they don’t take online payment but when the manager was there she said they do. When she was off they told me they don’t have online payment. They pressure you to cough the payment before they do repairs, Otherwise the tech will leave the house if you don’t make the payment on the spot which was what happened with me. The tech left because I didn’t make the payment when they called me at 8 Am lastly when I asked about the labor warranty they said 30 days Only after 30 days you will have to pay another $100 for them just to come look at it. Before you buy a warranty make sure to read the fine prints and ask about their exclusionsBy Moham Haj (4 months ago)This was my first experience with Best Care Home Services and it worked out very well. Best Care was able to work me in the day I called and their tracking system kept me updated almost to the minute when their technician would arrive. The technician, Taylor text me when he would arrive and he made it on time. Taylor was very polite and professional and he had my furnace issue resolved within 30 minutes. The repair fee was reasonable and I have no complaints. There has immediate availability the following day to come and provide an evaluation for a second opinion. I needed a second opinion on my apartment furnace and what was causing the strange odor I smelled after maintenance came multiple times to try to fix my heat. They even said they had contractors come, but nothing was wrong and the odor I smelled was dust burning. Ron was amazing! He called me when he was on the way and arrived at the time he stated he would. He was friendly, professional, and patient! He was able to validate my concerns that he could smell the odor, diagnose the issue, and provide me with written notes to use as I discuss this with the property manager. He also provided additional concerns noting the furnace is a fire hazard. The entire process was smooth! I would definitely recommend calling for an evaluation. All jokes aside, Terry and Hugh, my installation professionals, were prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. My wife was home for the majority of the install and she’s a bit wary of unfamiliar men in her house. They put her at ease immediately with their professionalism. It was a picture perfect install. They removed the old equipment and left the house cleaner than when they entered. I’m not one for reviews unless it’s an extremely positive or negative experience. Our assigned technicians, Cole & Mr. Donald did their best in explaining our plumbing setup and I truly felt they were empathetic to our major plumbing issue. However, I think the company’s pricing should fairly quote the labor, parts and overall SUCCESSFUL completion of the job. In a sense I felt robbed, considering we paid the amount we were told it requires to fix the issue. However, we still have major routing issue they were unable to locate, and charged for additional feet we did not use. After 15 minutes of looking around the sink and taking parts of the faucet apart to clean them out, the technician couldn’t detect the problem and suggested that we replace the sink faucet at a cost of $1,237.75. I told him that his suggestion was out of my budget and asked for an alternative solution at which time he called his supervisor, who asked him to check on the cold water supply hose. This in fact turned out to be the cause of the low pressure. After replacing the cold water supply hose for $226.00, the technician then informed me that the hot water supply hose was now leaking and needed to be replaced. This problem wasn’t there before he started working but the technician insisted that it was, even when the area under the sink was completely dry. In order for both the cold – and now the hot water to work in the kitchen faucet and to avoid water damage, I now had no option but to let him replace the hot water hose for an additional $226.00. When he finished and was ready to leave, I noticed that the faucet was now leaking. He took some parts of the faucet apart, again, and finally left the faucet working. His final advice to me was to “replace the whole sink the next time”. Although the company came the same day I called and they showed up to the site on time, the technician wasn’t professional nor knowledgeable about the situation and was clearly set on up charging me. I won’t be contacting this company again for any of our building’s plumbing needs and I would not recommend them to anyone.By Nelson Gutierrez (5 months ago)I had a minor issue in my toilet where water was leaking into the bowl intermittently. I called up Mr.Rooter for help. They showed up the next day and tightened a knob to fix the issue. While I appreciate the quick turnaround, they charged a bomb of $186 to get this fixed. They refused to give me a price estimate which was another annoying part. We managed our expectations with Smith’s Plumbing given that we’ve been stood up by HD Plumbing two days in a row. We would’ve wanted to be scheduled days earlier but Smith’s was pleasant but firm in setting and keeping our appointment with them – arrived at the last hour of the given schedule today. Hunter wasted no time and did a wonderful job with our kitchen drain stoppage, and was clear and cordial from start to finish. Very satisfied with the work, a little pricey but well worth it having our kitchen sink back working after a long week. Highly recommended.
Smith’s plumbing just gained a lifelong customer! After dealing with another plumbing company that came out for less than 10 minutes, gave an outrageous quote, and still wanted a $100 service charge, I decided to give Smith’s a call.
Technician Ethan S. came out and immediately let me know the situation, explained it to me in terms where I (non-plumber) could understand, and gave me a price that fit my budget and felt fair and reasonable. He also let me know that if anything were to change, he would stop work and let me know of any price changes. Ethan went right to work and got everything done in about an hour. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and had great customer service. He let me know why he started working for Smith’s and that the owner gives back to the community. Smith’s plumbing is the best. Give them a call for all your plumbing needs!
Outstanding service and fair price. This company consistently gives great customer service and does a fantastic job. Had to have toilet replaced and drain work and the tech Ethan did a wonderful and professional job. When a defect was discovered, Ethan and the company without hesitation replaced at no cost. He is extremely knowledgeable, does great work, and is very courteous. I love that he wanted to make sure I was a satisfied customer before he left. I highly recommend Smith for any plumbing job (Ethan if you can get him. I had a kitchen faucet replaced years ago by another tech and they were excellent too so must be a great company to work for!) I am a customer for life!
Had a pipe leaking on a Sunday. Called Smith’s and they called me back within 15 minutes.
Will and Matthew came out, sized up the job and got right to work. After fixing the first leak they discovered another one so they also fixed it.
I can’t say enough about how professional they were and what great care they took to make sure everything was fixed proper.
Smith’s will always be my first call from now on!!
This is just a positive reaction to the professionalism and effort shown by the wonderful young lady who got me an appointment. If the plumber is half as good, I will give him a five star rating as well. After the service Corey was simply outstanding. He was so helpful, professional and courteous. He also did a wonderful job in a short amount of time. He even remained cheerful even after crawling under my house.
