  1. My elderly parents AC was replaced 18 months ago by a company that walker has since purchased. The capacitor went out two weeks ago, but is under warranty. Walker came to check it out and told my parents they had two choices – wait 3 days with no AC in 106 temps for it to be covered under warranty, or pay them $400 right now and they would fix it on the spot. No offers of temporary Equipment to cool the house while they wait for warranty parts. This is the residence of My 90 year old grandfather suffering from dementia and my 70+ parents. What choice did they have from a health and safety perspective except to pay $400?! This is taking advantage of the elderly at its finest. I immediately called Walker after hearing about this and was told a manager would call me back. It’s been one week and I still haven’t heard anything. Walker appears to be a good company with great reviews, but this was not our experience at all. Don’t get comfy thinking your AC is under warranty with them – apparently they’ll hold you hostage in these extreme temps. I will be reporting them to the BBB.

  2. I will try to keep it short, as I can feel this experience becoming one of those reviews that you skim through because it is too long.

    We were told they would install a new unit Monday, then it was changed to Wednesday, and then Thursday. They got here at 8AM on Thursday with no prior time being communicated (we were going to call at 9AM to check on when they would be here).

    Install team “finished” the job around 3PM, and very quickly left, seemingly in a hurry. They left bulky trash in our front yard that now has to get picked up (insulation, boxes, etc).

    AC didn’t work 10 minutes after they left. Called a tech out to come fix it, and they told us the install team did not drain the system properly. They put a patch job on it and told us another appointment would need to be scheduled to permanently repair it. 30 minutes after the tech left, the AC shut off again.

    It is now 9PM and the AC still doesn’t work, I have trash in my front yard, and I am out $18k.

    I will say, I almost made this a 2 star rating because both techs and the office I talked to were all extremely nice and helpful. However, with this latest outage of the AC, I just can’t bring myself to up the rating.

  3. Walker Co. was absolutely amazing. My neighbor recommended them because she was telling us how awesome their service was and professional and how thorough. I called the same day, and they were here in less than 24 hours and was in constant communication. I am so happy I went with this company, and not to mention its affordable and the customer service from the operators to the techs were outstanding. You won’t go wrong with them!!! Thank you Walker!!!!

  4. I feel they should have kept me informed if they never going to give me a discount on the waiting so long over over 6weeks for parts and repairs. So I’m very upset because they never addressed it even by today.

    These guys are absolutely awesome. I HAD deteriorating plumbing that forced gutting the master bath and also repair an additional 16 feet of line down to the main 😟 which I was tip-toeing around and dreading for the past few years. Josh & his team came in and did an AMAZING job. They relieved all my anxiety about tearing up that bath with their patience, skill, absolute CLEANLINESS in how they work (!!can’t be emphasized enough when talking plumbers!!), super courteous/friendly service, and TOTAL professionalism. All-around good guys and skilled tradesmen. Absolutely thorough and efficient technicians that not only care about the quality of their work but their customer relationship. They are the only ones I trust to do the right job, the right way. I have used them for the past 4 years and with this final big job, I wouldn’t dare use anyone else. They made the whole process painless and as carefree as possible. I’m so looking forward to putting it all back together now and having a brand new updated master bath that will no longer have plumbing issues. After all this, they feel like part of the family and I’m going to miss them. Since I won’t be having any more plumbing issues now, I guess I’ll have to plan for more upgrades just so I have a reason to invite them back. LOL 😊 So happy with the results.

    I hired them after signing up with the monthly plan. Honestly they were very informative, professional and patient with us. I will be using them monthly as these guys are trustworthy Update**** Even better customer service. We had one guy (Aaron) who came to fix our outside AC fan as a second day process. Then something happened with one of my AC units (which had nothing to do with the one being worked on) I addressed the issue with him and he solved the whole problem and went beyond my expectation. Have no regrets in signing with these guys and I will be their customer for a long time Had multiple plumbing problems including detached sink, toilet malfunction. That’s when Larry came to help. He was courteous, knowledgeable, efficient. It took multiple trips due to the design of our sink but we got it done. Larry even fixed my toilet when it wasn’t even on his schedule. No need to convince me, I will be Max Air’s customer for a very long time. Thank you so much Larry and Max Air

    Thomas (Tommy) from Max Air & Plumbing provided superior service! I initially called for an estimate back in late Nov for installing a faucet and updating the p-traps for newly installed vanity. Tommy came out for the estimate but also informed me about replacing my shut off valves. All the information was helpful and he gave me a few options to choose from for my estimate. He offered the option to include Max Air’s service plan and the benefits. He wasn’t pushy about it, just knowledgeable and allowed me to make my decision. Out of all the estimates, they were just a tad bit higher than a few but not the most expensive. Regardless, it was Tommy’s customer service and helpfulness that led me to go with Max Air. I requested to work with Tommy again, and he was able to come for an appointment shortly after. He installed the faucet and other items and everything is running and looking great so far! I plan to use Max Air & Plumbing again in the future and I would highly recommend them to others. Ask for Tommy!

    I had the pleasure of having Jorge with Max Air visit my home to service my air conditioner for the upcoming summer. He was very polite and personable.     Fantastic job! Bryen was neat, professional and extremely knowledgeable! He used shoe covers and completed a complimentary inspection of plumbing throughout the entire house…explained everything to me and created a spreadsheet of any older valves or parts that I may want to proactively repair in the near future. Completed the service on my gas line by replacing the hose with an upgraded better designed one…and fully checked that everything was good! I am very impressed and it was completely worth the $ to know that everything is connected securely! Will definitely use them again as well as recommending their services to my entire neighborhood.

    Service Tech: Bryan Marcellus (Employee: 467) My technician came out same day and performed his job above and beyond. I have an older house with galvanized pipes. Very dated and hard to find the right fittings. I knew this before due to inspection when buying the house. I knew it would be troublesome which is why I consulted the professionals. He fixed my leak, but not after traveling to 4 different locations to find the right pieces to the puzzle. Only someone with true tenure and experience as a master plumber could pull off this job. My experience was excellent with this company and I would highly recommend my technician. He was very courteous and had a prompt work ethic. Thanks again for all you did Bryan!

    Carl and Steve are our go to plumbers at Ernie’s. They have come out to our property multiple times for sewer backups. Carl and Steve never complain and are very friendly, professional and so courteous. We won’t use any other plumbers! The girls in the front office are extremely friendly and helpful as well. Ernie has a great crew! We highly recommend them! Especially Carl and Steve. People like Carl and Steve reflect very well on the business.     Scott Reddick was our technician. I called Ernie’s and Scott arrived quickly. I told Scott I would rather repair our hot water heater if possible. He quickly diagnosed the problem, informed me as to the needed parts to order from Rheem. Scott did not try to upsell me for a replacement hot water heater. I ordered the parts and the day I received them, I called and requested Scott for completion. He arrived that morning and completed the job promptly. Scott showed me the parts that he had replaced and assured me that our water heater was working as it should now. His service was professional, quick and very he was very courteous. I would recommend him when the need for an honest and competent plumber arises. Thank you, Scott!!!!
