  I’ve been back for a second cut!

  Moved to Tacoma in Feb and have been struggling to find a “regular” barber to go back to consistently but alas, this is my place now 🙂

  I am writing this review because someone has to say something. Supernova Barbershop is a PREMIER shop in Tacoma and the ONLY one I will recommend to my friends and family. The owner is an awesome guy and he really works hard to maintain a positive vibe. Now, I’d also like to talk about the only barber i will go and see there. Tito, is by far the best barber i have ever come across, he always goes above and beyond to make sure I and other customers are well treated when in his chair. i HIGHLY recommend going to supernova barbershop and seeing TITO!

  Came here to get a beard trim from Tito. The vibe inside is spectacular and friendly. Love the emo music playing that takes me back to being a moody teenager. My beard turned out great and Tito cleaned up my edges with a straight razor and did a beard oil treatment and hot towel. Tito also gave me some advice on how to take care of my beard as well, already booked my next appointment!

  Excellent haircut but more expensive than anywhere I’ve ever been! I paid 65 for a something assumed would’ve been no more than 40 anywhere els taper line up/beard shape up with razor consult price before doing anything as I should have done!! Good costumer service I just wish they would have told me the price prior to getting cut as I came in on appointment.

  I had an amazing experience! The shop is very clean! The barbers are extremely experienced. They took there time to cut my hair and my sons hair and made sure that we were happy with it. I am very impressed and will suggest them to anyone in need of a haircut.

  I took my son to Joel’s VIP Barber Salon to get his haircut for back to school. My son is Autistic and has sensory issues and Joel was AMAZING!   I am currently in the Military. I moved to WA almost a year ago. When I got here I really had a hard time looking for a good barber.   Just got my first haircut here with Rob. It was an absolute delight. Rob paid incredible attention to detail starting with a thorough discussion about what I wanted first, while including some of his suggestions. He took his time and was precise and thorough. He even trimmed my eyebrows with the scissors. The hot towels are infused with essential oils and smell incredible. It you want a truly luxurious barbershop experience, this is your spot. I am a scrupulous person and nothing caught my attention in a negative way. The haircuts here are not cheap, but you get what you pay for! I will surely be back.

  SO GREAT! Retro Barber Shop feel with hip touches. Made appointments for my two sons and got them in the same morning. Juan and Brenden did an excellent job on both boys! My youngest got a booster seat in the form of an upside down skateboard and he was beyond thrilled. The guys chatted with the boys and did exactly what we asked for. First time there and blown away!
