- Reviews:It doesn’t taste good like the past few years. It getting worst. The chicken rice got neither tomatoes nor salad, just a mere thin slice of chicken with cucumber. I bought it at 8 p.m. not too late for a dinner if they want to say that i came late or what. Another thing is, I got raw meat from my sate! They did not cook them properly. There are better places in AS for chicken rice.By Allan Lim (9 months ago)The Nasi Ayam (Chicken Rice) was very nice. The chicken and the sauce paired perfectly. Worth the try. But it’s a little sweet I suppose, need to improve on that a little. We also ordered their Bihun Sup, it was very delicious. My mom said that it is very original as a Kedah Bihun Sup. Overall a nice experience. Maybe need to improve a little on the cleanliness of the restaurant.By Abdullah Izzat (4 years ago)I never expect the chicken is served like this with sweet and sour sauce because this is differ from the common malay style nasi ayam… Overall the taste of rice and sauce plain but the chicken is quite nice! Located in the main part of Alor Setar, u wont missed this busy eatery outlet serving delicious family receipe of yellow rice. Dishes included Fried chicken, beef, salted egg, curry, fried fish, sambal, eggs. The photo of my plate of Nasi Lemak does not do justice to the flavors of the kuah campur at this little nasi lemak place. The queues were still evident even at 9pm at night. There isn’t much to pick from other than the usual suspects but the flavors are worth the simplicity. We complimented our dish with some burgers from the stall outside. Turned out pretty good too !
One of alot Alor Setar people famous Nasi Kandar “Kuah basah”, their taste nice and spicy, but after meal feel thirsty. Their rice very good.

Price: RM 12.8 Rice+fried chicken+lady finger+egg / Sirap ice.
Not a pleasant experience compared to years ago. The one who do the calculation is a bit fierce. I would understand if he doesn’t smile, but the way he talk when we ask question feel like we got scolded lol. Food wise is okay2 lah. The rice is the one that is different from others. It is spicy if you ask for kuah pedas. Go for kuah manis if you prefer not spicy. Price wise is okay too. 4 rice, 3 chicken, 1 meat, 1 salted egg, 2 fried egg, paru goreng, and 4 ice water is around RM 45. Open at 11.30 AM now so that is good. More places for dine in too
Don’t be confused as this is not your typical nasi lemak. In the north, they are close to the likes of Nasi kandar. Order your rice topped with fried chicken, daging hitam, curries and splash them up with ‘kuah campur’. If you dislike overflooding of sauces in your plate, do stop them before it’s too late. I suggest left some rice untouched so your mouthfuls won’t be too overwhelming with the kuah strong taste. The fried chicken is out of this world when it’s hot. Highly recommended joint.
The worst ever experience I had. Queued for an hour and was told they running out of chicken. Fine, asked how long to wait. They said they are bringing the chicken from the other place and still need to cook. It’s fine if you are telling it in a nice way but seriously, their attitude keep me wonder if I’m the customer. Definitely not visiting here again. If only I could put it 0 star.
