What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I am at this store 2 to 3 times a week. It’s smaller, yes, but this town is not a booming Metropolis. Staff is polite, especially the managers who are seemingly LIVING THERE. I love the clearance being in a centralized location for convenience. Yes, lines get long at times, and people who complain about the self checkout cashier “not scanning large items”…. should probably figure out what a self checkout is. “Younger” employees, are just that, younger. Life experience is needed for everyone.

My only (mild, lame) negative mark, would be not having a fresh seafood counter (again, it’s Fostoria.). Great sushi though!

  2. Too little of each product on shelf. Lots of varieties but few of each. Many self check outs, many also not working. Too many self check outs when you have a full cart and not enough lanes open to cover the long lines of people who do have full carts and also full days. It tends to get hectic.

  3. Ordered a 1977 Fostoria High class reunion cake. Didn’t bother looking at it prior to leaving with it. Got it to the venue. It was supposed to say FHS Class of 1977 and be decorated wih roses. What it said was FHF C. 1977. Only decorating was some
red icing on the edge. How they got FHF out of FHS is beyond me. And really…it was too much effort to write out Class of 1977??? Highly
disappointed…especially since it came with a $60.99 price tag. A 12-year old could have done better than this. Will never order again. Would post a picture if I could.

  4. They need to do something about the vehicles parked in front of the store it makes it dangerous for people who are walking in and out of the store and very difficult for other vehicles to pass by Hopefully no one get hurt cuz of these people

Kroger in Fostoria OH: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know

When shopping at Kroger, there are a few rules that customers should follow to ensure a pleasant and efficient shopping experience. These rules are in place to maintain a safe and organized environment for both shoppers and employees. Here are some important rules to keep in mind:

  • Adhere to store policies: Familiarize yourself with the store policies such as mask requirements, store hours, and return policies. This will help you avoid any confusion or conflicts during your shopping trip.
  • Respect social distancing: As with any grocery store or public space, it is important to maintain a safe distance from others while shopping. Respect the recommended six feet of distance to help prevent the spread of germs.
  • Follow directional markers: Many Kroger stores have implemented one-way aisles and directional markers on the floor to regulate the flow of traffic. Pay close attention to these markers and follow them accordingly.
  • Be patient and courteous: With increased safety measures, such as limited store capacity and potential longer wait times, it is important to be patient and understanding. Treat fellow shoppers and store employees with respect and kindness.
  • Use sanitary measures: Utilize hand sanitizing stations throughout the store and consider bringing your own sanitizing wipes to clean cart handles or any surfaces you may need to touch.

While these rules are essential when shopping at Kroger, there are also some things that customers do not need to worry about:

  • You do not need to bring your own shopping bags: Kroger provides plastic or paper bags for customers to use. However, if you prefer to use your own reusable bags, you are welcome to do so.
  • You do not need to tip baggers: Kroger does not employ baggers or require customers to tip for bagging groceries. However, if you choose to do so as a gesture of appreciation, it is completely optional.
  • You do not need to ask for assistance: Kroger employees are readily available to assist customers if needed. Whether you have questions about a product or need help finding a specific item, don’t hesitate to ask for assistance.
  • You do not need to worry about discounts: Kroger offers various discounts and promotions throughout the year. Keep an eye out for weekly ads, digital coupons, and loyalty programs to take advantage of savings.

Overall, shopping at Kroger can be a convenient and enjoyable experience as long as customers adhere to the store rules and show respect to those around them.
