What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. As a person of color I honestly hate coming into the store , however, I am a mom of three and live five minutes away so I am forced to come here by convenience. Each time I come into this store to shop I feel as if “loss prevention is following me around assuming that I’m going to steal a cart full of groceries. Granted my store runs are usually early mornings after I drop the kids off to school so I’m not looking my best (in my pajamas) however this is still a form that should not be an indication that I can’t afford the things in my cart. I know this happening because it’s the same faces I see following me around and pretending to shop . I’ve even witnessed employees calling out to them by name from time to time (which they should not do). This morning my phone died as soon as I finished ringing up my items and since I was going to use my Kroger pay in the Kroger app I ended up having to leave the groceries at the service desk so that I was able to run home and grab my card. When I came back into the store shortly after I realized that I actually needed to grab an additional item . After finding the item I needed I went up to the service desk do finish my purchase. While I was waiting in line I noticed a customer purchasing scratch offs at the lottery vending machine. At first I didn’t think anything of this but I noticed that he walked back and forth several times as he was watching me each time he walked past . Still I brushed it off because sometimes people are just weird. When I finally reached the front of the line I greeted the check out girl and explained to her that I wanted to purchase the to additional items I grabbed along with the cart of groceries behind her , she immediately says “so you want to return these two item?” I say “no I want to purchase these two items as well as the cart of groceries behind you” she says “oh!” In a surprising way. I feel as if she was told that I was trying to return items that I just picked up around the store. This is very off putting. I should not have to go into a store and continuously feel this way.

  2. This Store is always clean and well stocked. The issue is getting checked out after shopping. Only one register with cashier open this morning. 9 or 10 people in line.
Self checkout is difficult so I don’t do that at Kroger.

  3. I did the self checkout with the long conveyor belt for the first time, I had a whole basket of things and didn’t want to bother a cashier, I had so many issues with the machine and the self checkout lady tried to help but the register kept stop working. I spent 20 minutes to get checked out and I had so much frustration. I will not be using the self checkout again!! Worst self checkout experience!!

  4. There are nice employees, but this store is terribly managed. As I write this (at 9:43 pm), the checkout line is literally wrapped around the store. There are constantly unbelievable checkout lines as only 1 or 2 self-checkouts are open, and no regular checkouts are open. There are at least 13 self-checkouts in the store. There’s no reason for this.

  5. I don’t like having to check myself out. They only have 1 checkout open with an employee checking people out and the line reaches down the aisle, with 5 people with full carts. Unbelievable that customer service means the customer performs their OWN service.
