- Reviews:This is undoubtedly a famous Indian cuisine place in Kuching. Plenty of great reviews with none other the Roti 🫓 Nan Cheese 🧀, is the tasties ever. They’re not going cheap with the cheese and uses a good brand for their cheese. Try their extra/double cheese, its a must. Briyani was so so, had tried a better ones, but their customer service was excellent, food was delivered super fast and they’ll check on how the food taste and how could they be of any help. Location was easily to find and according to other customers, this place is usually packed but the day we came was a rainy day and it had less people. The curry gravy also one of my favourite. The first shop for food hunt in Kuching since my last visit before MCO. Should drop by if you love cheese or Indian food. The curry is spicier in a good way but find there is a hint of sweetness in all the curry. I was surprised that the lamb curry was sweet. The briyani rice is a bit on the oily side. Then there is the cheese naan and cheese banaa. You can call the cheese naan South Indian pizza. The kids will love the stringiness of the melted cheese and the huge amount of cheese used in preparation. The place is always busy but it didn’t take too long to get a seat. The manager was nice – talked to each customer to make sure everything was to order. Eating at this place will pack a lot of fat and calories in your diet. Should fast for 2 days just to let everything burn through your system.By sng1002001 (6 months ago)Very heavy and hearty meals. Banana cheese, yummy. Drinks were quite nice. The curries, however, were the star. Creamy and thick. Sweet and sour. The flavors were just amazing. But, you know the price goes directly to your tummy. Bloody worth it. Cheese naan, average. Another must try is “teh c special”. A 3 layers tea, milk and gula apong. Has just recently came for dinner, hoping to get food like i used to before. Sadly my favourite dish is no longer inside the menu, and what’s more sad is the chef is different than before. Food taste different now compared to before and its not as delicious as it used to. The old chef might have change places to work at. Service is slow even when there’s only few tables that are filled with customers. It was not peak time that night. Cost of food has increased but that has been expected. This is our favourite spot for breakfast. Lot of variety breakfast prefered by local. There are mee kolok, mee pok, mee jawa, mee belacan, laksa, roti canai, nasi lemak with lot of size dishes. This place is cozy plus fast service. Recommend if you come by group. Price is reasonable.
All the food we ate was so good and the teh ais gula apong was marvellous. Easy to come here and there are so many choices you can choose to fill your hungry tummy.😋😋
Our favourite spot during our stay in Kuching. Got variety of local foods ; mee kolok, laksa sarawak, ayam penyet, and all type of lauk during lunch hour. Tried few dishes and all recommended. You should try their Mee Super Special and Ayam Penyet Pedas. Sedappp !!
One of my favourite makan place whenever I’m aback in Kuching. Kopitiam with a good vibes. Service was prompt. Extensive menu of Sarawak delicacies and also serves mixed rice & chicken rice.Muslim friendly cafe👍
