What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. My family and I enjoyed our stay. Only downside was no fresh breakfast on site. I understand you have a few restaurants but it would be nice to serve on hotel premises too. Casino was easy to get to. Staff was very nice and friendly. Smooth check in process. Loved the lobby decor. Will definitely return!☺️👍

  2. Normally I would give Windcreek a 4 plus, but we definitely had issues this time, however, Robin and others at the front desk were very sympathetic and did try to mend things over. We were there for 5 nights & the whole time the AC froze you out! Then housekeeping was an issue the first 2 days, no one evidently had our room assigned to them? Second day, I ended up getting supplies, making beds etc. We were in the old section which was fine, as the room when we arrived was clean and supplied well. Our son had a room on a different floor for 3 nights in new section and to my knowledge had no issues. Three days/nights supposed to have been AC technicians came up from facilities to try to fix situation, one said leave card in side, other ones that came said thermostat didn’t run on card?! They all had different stories and basically could not fix. Yes, by third day, we were given the option to change rooms, but once you’ve unpacked and have things in refrigerator etc. that too would have been a hassle especially since my husband has Parkinson’s and takes him a day or so to acclimate to a room. We were bummed we didn’t get in new section as have been coming the last few years and waiting on this! Also was totally bummed the Spa was not open! The new lobby bar is a definite plus, loved it! Again, the supervisors at the front desk were very nice, and did comp our room for 2 nights. Once we got housekeeping on track the last couple days, the gal that serviced us was really good. We will give it a try once again as we do love the area and is convenient for our son to meet us from Philly.

  3. We went to the casino by bus. We paid $45 and got $35 back to gamble with. Wind Creek also gave us an additional $5 for our return visit. Slots were decent, but we aren’t crazy about the food choices. Not enough vendors to choose from. We like walking around the small mall area for a change of scenery. We’ll definitely return.

  4. I am updating my early review from my stay at the beginning of July. This latest review is from my most recent stay….

I stayed again for 5 days at the end of the month 7/27 -8/2 Windcreek offered me a few nights comped, so I was happy to accept & added a few days at a reasonable rate. They did put me in the new tower, which is nice, & a guest can tell it is clean.
The staff I interacted with was great throughout my stay! They even worked with me to help me extend my stay.
I had an excellent dinner at the Chop house, service was top notch & food was delicious. I appreciated the hospitality and would be happy to visit again soon.

First time back since they renovated and opened the new tower & lobby. First impression is very nice.
I did notice small details that took away from the upscale feel of
the renovation. For instance, no toiletries in the room, small detail for sure, but the details is what its all about.
Many of the restaurants were closed early and on Sun & Mon 2 or 3 restaurants weren’t open so you just need to be prepared to either eat at a 4☆ or cafe like options.
The getting a drink only every 30min at the poker table is somewhat silly, but I guess they don’t want a bunch of drunks just sitting in there.
I wish my room was in the newer tower so I could of seen the complete renovations, but maybe next time I’ll get lucky with an upgrade.
All in all, still a very good value and place for a casino in PA.

  5. Had the best time ever? Friendly people running this Hotel/Casino! Shops and restaurants, you got it all! Pools so refreshing! Excited to go back and enjoy, again! A walk up up the sidewalk lead to a Musikfest! Concerts on the Steel Stage? Loved and had a great time!

Made reservations in the Tap Room to celebrate my wife’s birthday and our 46th wedding anniversary. Service was outstanding. Our server Gerber was great…a very valuable employee for the hotel. They treated us to a champagne toast upon arrival, had Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary cards on the table, the band played Happy Birthday for my wife and dessert was a great gluten free tiramisu among other surprises. The food was outstanding as usual for this historic hotel! Thank you so much to the Hotel management for making our anniversary celebration one to remember!!!! We WILL return soon!

Very nice hotel with lots of history. Location is perfect and within walking distance of many little restaurants and such. Rooms have that old school vibe but very elegant. Staff is nice and knowledgeable. Overall highly recommended

What a one of a kind gem. You know you’re in for a uniquely high quality experience the minute you interact with a staff person here. They are all so professional, friendly, and courteous. And they bend over backwards to help their customers. The rooms are well appointed, clean, and the accomodations are first class. Thank you, to everyone who works so hard here to make it a great place.

The lobby is beautiful!!!! Staff was courteous and attentive. It is a historic hotel, so the rooms are reflective of that fact and dated. Also, the electric vehicle chargers were plentiful, but I couldn’t get them to work during my stay.

Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. This site will compare thousands of booking web sites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the most well known in this area. I have been coming here for years. If you choose this place you for sure won’t regret it.

It could be the nicest hotel in the U.S., and I’ve stayed in quite a few. Service is excellent, the rooms are elegant, and the food is perfect. If you have a little extra money squirreled away for vacation, this is a great option. Plus, Historic Bethlehem is one of unique places in the world.
