  1. This is the market place where every Sunday Maui market happen . There are lots of vendors with lots of gifts and you can bargain for the reasonable price .

  2. Lots of parking but difficult access to strip mall, as the entrance is only off of the bypass. Huge store, and kind of like an Easter egg hunt, but I usually find what I need.

  3. Great local store. If you need beef jerky or if you need Paint. Not normally two things I head out of the house n e e d i n g at the same time, but it shows the variety of things and the people that work there are very knowledgeable and helpful.

  5. This is an update to the problem I had a few weeks ago. The Lahaina Ace Hardware Store refused to abide by the emailed offer from Hawaii Electric / Ace and exchange my incandescent light bulbs for LED bulbs. It was a great offer, where Hawaii Electric wanted people to give up energy inefficient bulbs and use more efficient LED bulbs.

    Well, it’s a great offer if the people at the store don’t refuse to do the exchange and you have to purchase the bulbs instead. That’s how it went down.

    I decided to write to Hawaii Electric and got a nice response from Kolia, who offered to investigate the problem. It took quite a while (like she had anything more important to do? Lol) but she finally got the message across with someone at this store that I should get a refund. Kudos to Kolia for her terrific attitude and efforts to get that straightened out.

    So, on the following morning, I returned to the Lahaina Ace Hardware Store. I didn’t want to wait until the refund offer was forgotten. I asked for the manager (I had no “Karen” attitude) and Myrar came to the checkout. I explained my reason for coming and it was obvious that she had no idea that I should be getting a refund. Someone left this manager out of the loop.

    Fortunately, after some friendly discussion, Myrar agreed that I should get the refund after I handed over my bag-o-bulbs. Thank you, Myrar, for making this so pleasant.

    I’m leaving my rating unchanged, because someone left it up to me to convince this nice lady to do the right thing.

    They generally have better prices than the big box stores. This store gets a lower rating because its smaller than the new Waiakea location and they copied my keys wrong once.

    My personal feelings is that most of the time the associates are friendly and helpful but there’s a few who needs an attitude check, then it’s like there always watching you maybe it’s me who knows .but other than that I 💕 this store

    This local store has everything! Maybe not a lot if everything, but they do a great job of keeping a large variety of household and repair items in stock. Their coupons and a great value too.

    Always come here for stainless bolts, washers, nuts etc. as the big box stores never seem to keep up on stock.
