Then told they can’t override the vendor’s price when you get back the length of the store 2nd trip with the photo and was spending $175 on other things. Empower employees or have managers or take down your sale signs on table full of flowers. Needless to say, I went home without them disappointed. Cathy. She is very racist and rude. I really do not think “Cathy” enjoys working at the front desk or working at Home Depot. If not, you’re going to struggle to find someone to help you, but when you do find them, usually their knowledgeable and can’t help you. But that’s rare. All stores are going to self checkouts. So here most Home depots are all self checkout. They might have one person at the pro service that can check you out but every everything else is pretty much self-serve and it seems everything is going that way and we don’t get a 1099 form to fill out. At the end of the year I come to stores for service not to do work. So this is one thing that I don’t likeBy Mr. Branham (in the last week)Tool rental here is a joke. Ordered a $150 reservation. Paid in full on online booking. I get here to pick it up at reservation time and they told me their system crashed so the reservation is gone. If I want to take it now it’s ANOTHER $150 regardless of whether my bank said I already paid or not. No refund will be given. Fine whatever I’ll take it. Robin, the associate at the paint counter, completely ignored us doing other tasks, then when another customer approached, helped them immediately. This is not the first time this has happened with this particular employee. It is a pattern and based on the customers he chooses to help, I believe it is racially motivated. The way we were treated was completely unacceptable and intolerable. The management response was equally pathetic and disappointing. So I dropped into the Home Depot here in West Columbus off of West Broad Street and it was a great experience very customer friendly.
So my mission was to get some security camera cable extensions for a night owl home security system. Now installing this system which has 16 cameras I had to go around to three different Walmarts by extension cables bought them out completely because he sometimes they don’t tell you that you’re going to need all these cables when you buy the night owl system.
And what I love about Home Depot is it is a chain box store and the layout is identical each and everyone what makes it very convenient to find what you’re looking for if you’ve ever been to one of the stores before.
At the end of the day and the bottom line is the staff here were very helpful it made my experience pleasant and I would highly recommend it if you’re in the west side of Columbus Ohio I need a home improvement store
Had to wait 45mins for help . Wanted to buy side by side refrigerator that evening, could not agree on price of removal of old side by side. Which I bought there. As a matter of fact I have bought all my appliances there over the last 20yrs . I will go to Sandy’s appliance this weekend ( never been there ) to check it out. So disappointed by home Depot !
Chris, John and Kendrick are great assets to the Home Depot team. They went above and beyond for customer service. The reason why we only gave a four star rating was mostly because of the 3.5 hours of getting transferred around by other Home Depot employees. It took us the better part of our night to get an issue resolved. It is too bad they use ‘Roadie’ as a third party delivery. Roadie would get zero stars. Anyway, like I said, at the end of the day there was amazing customer service, but it was a headache getting passed around and no one taking ownership of a broken delivery until it got to Chris/John/Kendrick..
Went to pick up a preordered item and was given an open box return. Then when I tried to get a new item they had no stock and told me I had to go somewhere else. No help in reordering or correcting the issue at hand.
Dumpster fire. I’ve had to leave this location and go to another one, or a competing brand, many times. But today took the cake. Needed a piece of plywood that for some inexplicable reason was stocked in a place that only a lift operator could reach. Stood around for 40 minutes waiting for said lift operator, and then was asked to wait “at least 15 minutes” more because apparently there’s some door in the back that only a manager can open for the lift to come out from? Whatever, man. What a waste of time. If you can’t get the merchandise I need, just tell me instead of wasting my time. Also, the saw was “out of order,” and the store is dirty. This is a bad location. Avoid it.
