There is a side entrance off of Killian Rd in case you need the rental store. We had a bad experience with the rental of a pickup truck. The tailgate would not open and the item we were picking up was too heavy to lift out. We spent over an hour back at the store with our item in the truck bed with them trying to help open the tailgate. Eventually they broke it to get it to open and charged us the additional time it took them to mess around with it. We had to fight about the bill with their corporate office in order to get that extra time removed. They did not offer us any $ off for the time we had to waste. Not impressed by the tool rental department, but the store is good.By bev poletta (2 weeks ago)Home depot’s always wonderful place for your Home Depoting needs. I gave four stars instead of five stars because I believe they lack consistency from store to store. I was looking for CAT5 cables and a crimping tool. One location had them in an abundant stock and the other location didn’t have them at all. Or they had drastically overpriced cabling that was not better than the stuff they carried at the other location. I get a text message from Home Depot 12 hours before I am do to pick the truck up and was told they canceled my rental. I immediately called and was told the person who has the truck now needs it longer so my rental was canceled. I got no apology and when I asked if they could check other Home Depot’s for a truck I was told I have to do it myself. Of course the other truck rental companies are closed and I have no idea if I can find a truck prior to moving. Not to mention they will not refund my deposit for 3-5 days.By Ronald Kennedy (2 months ago)This visit was to purchase supplies for a DIY wall unit project my husband wanted to build. We loved the selection of grey shelving and the staff were very helpful. An associate by the name of Connor, cut all the sections according to our specs and was very accurate. Home Depot was good today but empty from too many customers. The store was clean. The aisle numbers in the so did not match the actual locations for two of five items in our list. Check out was helped by a friendly cashier able to help us with two transaction types.
We walked in with our propane tank and didn’t know we weren’t supposed to. The cashier told us that we had to go back out which wasn’t a problem. I stated that I didn’t see a sign to not bring it in so we wouldn’t have known. My boyfriend goes out to exchange our tank and an old woman with long white hair who works there flags me down and grabs my arm forcefully to tell me about the rules and how it is unsafe. I said no problem he took it outside we were more than compliant and it was not an issue. I will not be returning back to this home depot and they need to teach their employees that they shouldn’t put their hands on customers. I was in shock that she did that. I never want to go back there again. Horrible experience.
The staff is amazing! I shop there multiple times a week. The tool rental area is perfect for all home projects. They have a wonderful plant and pot selection. Their lighting section has no equal in the area. The cashiers are friendly kind and attentive to your needs. I highly recommend it!! I wish I could give it 10 stars.
Had exactly what I needed for my project but the price was a little high. Some times I find it hard to locate a specific item in such a huge store, and you can’t always find a associate for help. Even when you do locate a associate sometimes they send you to the wrong area. So my favorite addition to the Home Depot website is that you can look up the item you are looking for and it will give you the aisle number and the bay number. In my experience using this trick it has always sent me to the correct location in the store.
Well stocked, in a good location, easy access from freeway. Still, they are tearing up Brookpark road, so think about how you’re getting in and out to limit how much Brookpark road is in the mix. Order I made online was in the locker very quickly. Still had some other things to pick up, and staff was accessible for directions.
