I purchased a smart watch($300), screen saver($15.00), & to put it on($8.00). Day 1, the screen saver rolled up. Day 2, it was gone. I went for my refund. NO REFUND/& NO APOLOGY. I had to have the little thin plastic which was lost to get a refund. I returned the watch. Most staff was friendly. Experienced 1 employee who simply pointed us in the wrong direction of the chargers and didn’t care of we found it or not, but there were 2 others there to pick up his slack. They went above and beyond to find the “hidden” charger. First of all you can only talk with people in a call center who have no clue as to what to do. I made an online purchase of multiple kitchen appliances and through out the process I called multiple times speaking with multiple people because I was over charged for the merchandise, even a charge being applied to my card on the day of delivery. But once again after speaking with multiple people in the call center about the over charge no one could seem to tell me what the charges were for. Every reason they gave me for the extra charges didn’t apply because I had the receipt that was emailed to me by Best Buy on the day of purchase with total of the merchandise. The total cost of the appliances were deducted from my account on the day of purchase. This company over charged me and repeatedly entered pending charges on my account after the merchandise was paid in full on the day of purchase. As of this date I still don’t have an answer as to why the charges were applied to my account and they are refusing to return the overcharges to me even though they don’t even know why the charges were applied to my account. I have been dealing with this issue for a month you would think that if you spend a large sum of money with a store and you called to say that you were overcharged $30.05 they would return the overcharges with no problem especially when they don’t know why the charges were applied. I will never order from this company again nor will I recommend them so beware before you make any orders with them and make sure you watch your account for over charges.By Kim Arrington (a month ago)Help can either be easy or impossible to find, with the latter most likely. Have the Best Buy app ready, as it’s easier to confirm prices that way vs trying to figure out which sign is for what product when they can have the same first four words before running of the screen. Dont waste your time here if you’re planning on building a computer or upgrading your computer. Heck all i saw here were laptops. I came here primarily to find a new computer case, motherboard, and cpu, but come to find out they dont sell computer cases. It seems like they sell more toys than they do electronics here. Ive attached a picture of the cpu,gpu, motherboard selections they have to choose from, and as you can see it’s very limited. They had like 3 different cpus at most and an rtx 3060 was their best gpu offered 😒. John over in appliances was very helpful in ensuring we for the right appliance for a great price. John was more than helpful, he was easy to talk to and interact with.
Katrina (I think) helped us find the right phone for our teenager and helped us out with figuring out the best configuration as far as carriers. She was more than helpful offering insightful recommendations on the best phone for our teen. She was friendly and easy to talk with. She also helped me find a stylus for an old Microsoft Suface Pro 4. Thanks again.

But there was a particular employee who was great. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name, but he was working in the car audio area the morning of 12/28.There was a display of an item (AudioControl LC7i) on clearance, but unfortunately they didn’t have any in the store. Instead of the normal response you would get of “sorry, it’s unavailable” he went out of his way and went to the computer to order it for me from the warehouse shipped to my house with free shipping.
Best Buy should hire more people like him who are willing to take the time to help customers. It is clear that too many retail employees now days are simply trying to push the customer away and finish the interaction instead of trying to truly help.

Apparently there’s a seperate scheduling service for Geek Squads appointments. If not, then someone just doesn’t know what their talking about. The only reason I drove all the way up there was because the lady on the phone who made my appointment with Geek Squad said the diagnosis was free. After waiting in line I was then told that the diagnosis was not free and the only thing free was us discussing at the counter what was wrong with my laptop. I asked what’s the point of doing this twice, I literally just had this conversation on the phone with the lady that said “oh no the diagnostic is free, can I schedule you an appointment.” I asked the employee at the counter “so there’s a charge for diagnosis and also a charge for fixing whatever is wrong?” After being told yes I asked well why was I told it was free. The answer was ” I don’t know,but your not the first person to tell me this.”
Well there you go there is obviously a lack of communication between the people who schedule the appointments and the people at the actual counters. If I wouldn’t have been so mad I would have asked for a manager, but left instead cause my child doesn’t need to hear me arguing with people who don’t know how to communicate. Come to find out there are Plenty of places that will work on your computer for cheaper than Best Buy and a free diagnostic is standard.
It’s was busy, lines were long and they are understaffed. Some older woman wanted to complain to the manager about long wait times, he did come out and kindly and calmly explained they’re short staffed and some people called in sick and they were doing their best. I was mildly disappointed in his professionalism and poise but it was the right thing to do.
I went in there a few weeks back to buy a high end microphone. Unfortunately, Best Buy refused to price match, due to a slightly different UPC, even though the description and look of the microphone were identical. I was disappointed in the “manager” that was unable to make this happen. No worries though – I plan to return the microphone and buy another from a more reputable establishment.
I also had two employees tell me they were too busy to help me find it, before one kind soul was able to assist me.
I will never use Best Buy again! It is a cluster of unorganized people that don’t know what to do. In the store, there is a lack of service people to assist and when you finally track someone down, they seemed annoyed that you want their assistance. Once leaving the store and dealing with the installation, we have spent hours on the phone with 7 different representatives trying to get a washer installation resolved. We will have to now pay another repair company to finish the job that best buy didn’t.
I did a lot of shopping around for appliances before I went to Best Buy. There was a President’s Day sale on, so I got good deals on everything! I bought a Whirlpool washer and dryer because the washer has a removable agitator. I bought the GE Profile dishwasher because of the good reviews. I was not expecting the employees to know much about the appliances, so I was pleasantly surprised that they were very knowledgeable and helpful! I also bought the GE profile microwave for its simplicity and air fryer potential (although I will have to see it to believe it)! I got free installation because I am a Tru tech member (I think that’swhat it’s called). I’m currently waiting for delivery and installation, but the buying experience was excellent!
