I ordered a last minute Christmas gift on Christmas Eve. I didn’t get the email my order was ready and was worried they’d close without completing my order. I showed up, the prioritized my order and said that if I found the items I purchased they would get me in and out. The employee by the computers grabbed the one I needed, walked it to the front and had me in and out of the door in minutes without complaining while being incredibly busy.By Michelle Jordan (4 months ago)Totally unacceptable. Paid in full, in advance on a refrigerator purchase. Paid in good faith and had an appointment set up. 15 minutes before the deadline on the preplanned scheduled delivery date, I get a call with a million different excuses why they can’t deliver the product today. No problem, I got a refund and Home Depot had no trouble whatsoever fulfilling their obligations. Got the refrigerator I wanted, at a price I wanted, which is a heck of a lot more than I can say for this pathetic store.
I do route sales for a living and customer service is my business. I don’t get to make excuses like this as to why I can’t fulfill my obligations, why should a multi billion dollar corporation be extended privileges like this? Best Buy will never get another dime out of me, and I can promise you that

It takes you to an overseas call center where they then set up a date and time for appointment. So when I get to the store in my area on time for my appointment it was nonsense of having to make one because I wasn’t seen til 30 minutes after my appointment time. We had to buy a new fridge after our commercial fridge stopped working, and the repairman said it would cost a little over $2k to fix it. We found the cutest but small fridge here. I love it! We are currently waiting for the light pink glass door panels to come in. I can’t wait to see them installed. Repair man said the compressor and another part was bad. It was going to cost a bit over $3K to fix. So we decided to just replace our commercial fridge. We went to Lowe’s and found what I wanted but chose to go to Best Buy to check for a better deal or something I liked even better. We found the same model at Best Buy. After talking with the salesman, he showed us a returned model that was priced about $1K less than one that was in the box. Got it home, hooked it up, and it’s running great. The installers did a nice clean job and were very professional. I wanted to go back in and give them a fist bump but they were busy and I didn’t want to disturb them from their work. This is a good store, and generally the employees are helpful. They have a large stock of items available for pick up and order. Unfortunately this location is buried in the back of a very large shopping center that is frequently congested. Right off I 85, easy in but difficult if you’re going back north to the interstate, you’ll have to make a u- turn. This place is huge with many new products. Nice selection of appliances, TV’s, audio equipment, computers and much more. Plenty of sales staff to assist and answer questions.
I ordered a laptop that I found on sale online. The website was quick and easy allowing me to order, pay and choose my pick up store. They emailed me when it was ready and were very polite and prompt when I entered the store for pickup. I was in and out in under five minutes. Best buy is the place to go for good prices and no hassle. It’s an added plus that their staff are very friendly and helpful!!
I had purchased $20+ of merchandise and emptied out a cardboard display. (they compact/trash them) So I thought It would be nice to have it for display purposes. Cashier had no problem with me taking it. He was like, you bought everything in it, if you want it, take it. He acknowledged they would trash it anyways, so he saw nothing wrong with it. Not like they can sell the cardboard display.
Manager came up after my purchase and told me I couldn’t take the cardboard display. I tried to reason with him, acknowledging it would be trashed, so I didn’t see the big deal. The cashier even came to my defense and was like, he bought everything in it, only seems right to let him have it.
Manager became almost enraged and emptied everything out of it and was very rude and aggressive telling me I couldn’t have it. Had my wife not been with me, I probably would have had a few choice words and asked for a refund of everything I just paid for.
Dear Mr. Manager….it’s not that big of a deal. So what if you plan to restock it when new inventory comes in. (which let’s be honest, this wasn’t a product you hardly carried as it were..)
Let’s just say new inventory did come in.
News flash…it will likely come in another display just like it. O-M-G….
Thank you though, for reminding me why I don’t give my business to Best Buy. You’re a dinosaur in a digital age. Say Hi to Circuit City for me in a few years.
Customer Service here is awesome! Employees here go above and beyond to try and help! I came to get my surface pen replaced or repaired and Elisha did his best to help me out! Also help me out on a different issue I was having with WiFi at home! Thank you Elisha for your assistance! If I can add five more stars on this I would!! Never go wrong with Best Buy 🤷🏽
I went to fix my wife’s Flip 4, which their customer care service set up the appt for us. But when I got there, they stated they don’t do Android phones. It took me 40 minutes to get there. I never had any luck with Best Buy’s Geek Squad ever, but this process and location was the worst. Don’t waste your time here.
