What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I will never patronize this Home Depot again after my online delivery experience.

I actually go out of my way to avoid this location. It’s been inferior in many ways for years.

However, when I made an online order for *threshold* delivery (an important note), I was not aware that this location would process my order.

I placed my order on 11/30/22 and it was incompletely delivered on 12/7/22.

The days between were filled with less than professional contact between myself and the store. It left much to be desired.

Threshold delivery is a paid service where the items are placed in your home. Otherwise, with standard store delivery, items are placed outside of the home. Again, I paid the extra fee for Threshold.

When my items arrived today, I did not receive the service I paid for. My items were dumped in the street and on the side walk. When I asked the driver to at least but them on my property, he declined.

During the numerous points of contact with Home Depot delivery associates at this location, no one mentioned that there might be a difference between the driver who would drop the product and the laborers who would take it the items inside.

When I spoke to a delivery associate at road drop off, I asked what would happen in case of theft. She said the store isn’t responsible. (Side note – I promise Home Depot will eat this if anything happens to my items that are still on the road).

She also said the threshold deliverers would arrive 30 mins from the time I called. They have not arrived and it’s been 2 hours since the arrival time she told me.

I have spent an hour on the phone with Home Depot corporate. They allegedly arranged my for complete delivery to be prioritized. The store told corporate the crew was coming directly to me. That conversation as 1 hour ago.

It’s an all around trash experience. I do not recommend this location. Lowes is around the corner. Menards isn’t far.

  2. I went here last night with my husband to get a few items before closing. We were helped by a gentleman by the name of Derrell. He worked in the Paint section. He was patient and very informative when helping us decide on which tools and type of paint to use for our home. He educated us on which types of paint would fit in each rooms based on the different kinds/textures. He made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend returning here.

  3. Went in to pick up things. Suddenly needed rest room. Asked sec guard and he pointed to corner. Turns out it was straight down the aisle. I’m elderly. Hard to walk. Can’t trust Gen z to point a bathroom, fn punks. 😡🙄

  4. The employee working in this location could use a little customer service training. Instead of asking could they help you they were eagerly trying to get away from customers near garden area..

  5. If you’ve ever been to a Home Depot then you know what to expect from this location – it is what it is.

I tried to have a washer/dryer delivered and installed. I was out of town but my spouse was home to accept the delivery and installation. They told her they couldn’t hook up the exhaust for the dryer because one of the connectors wasn’t completely round. They also “couldn’t” stack the washer and dryer because there was only a couple inches of clearance from the ceiling once they were stacked (what?).

When I returned home a few days later, I bent the connector out with my hand and connected the dryer exhaust without any issue. I didn’t want to risk stacking the washer/dryer with only myself and my spouse due to her small stature, so I tried to return the stacking kit to the same location using the delivery receipt we were provided by the delivery driver. The person at the register AND their supervisor both told me that they couldn’t find the kit in their system and the reason for that was that I was never charged for the stacking kit as it was a part of the washer/dryer combo. I went over to the washer/dryer department and they found the $30~ charge immediately in their system’s history and were able to help me go back to the front and get my refund for the stacking kit.

What a pain, and I never got any partial refund for the delivery driver failing to complete the install or stacking the washer and dryer – a service that I most certainly paid for in full!

I was at the 47th and Western Home Depot this morning. I needed to replace a piece of wood behind my floating sink. The dimensions had to match the piece of wood I bought with me. Vincent Smith was the associate that assisted me in millinery. He was extremely helpful and took time to help me find the piece of wood I needed.

I have been ordering online supplies and when I get there to pick up my order. The staff has always been respectful and quick.

Probably the worst experience I’ve had in a store in a long time. Went in last night to get a 1/2 by 1/2 compression elbow (what the plumber asked for). I went in thinking that I will be treated like in other Home Depot stores. Not one person said anything. I walked to the plumbing aisles (16, 17, 18 so you don’t get lost) and once there I asked an associate for help. They weren’t too sure so they let me know they will call someone that works in Plumbing. I waited there for 10 minutes and no one showed up. I decided to look for the item myself but was not able to find it in the store. I asked another associate if he can help but they just pointed me to aisle 18 and to look there. Finally I went to the front of the store to ask for help and saw nothing but young adults on their cell phones. Not one supervisor or manager on site. I asked a young lady if there was someone In plumbing that can help me. She went over the loud speaker to announce that a customer needed help in Plumbing. I waited in plumbing for another 10 minutes and no one showed up again. I decided to leave the store without a purchase. It’s frustrating because I just bought a property close by this store but have to go to other stores to get better service or help. If anyone from Home Depot corporate reads this I suggest to start with management. People’s attitudes reflect the leadership they have to look up to.

Due to a storm. They lost their lights. Had backup generator and makeshift lights set-up. Even had the handicapped electric cart ready for users. Thank you Home Depot
