One person at the contractor checkout, 10-15 people in line. The last time there were 3 employees yet still just one checking out customers. One employee was checking receipts after the cashier completed the sale. I asked for assistance, and found the staff of employees very slow, and my assistance for 2 different departments never showed up. One employee finally walked around, who I called and asked him as he was approaching, of he could make me a key for my motor cycle. I found out that with all the state of art they had, that HomeDepot was not able to make me a key. After waiting for over 30 minutes, for both areas in this store, I really did not receive any help, nor any key, which I needed. Went to Home Depot 02/26/23 on the Gulf Fwy & Beltway 8 wanted to purchase a Samsung dishwasher. Upon looking at two of them I had some questions. Tried to locate a staff member not one staff member in sight. Walked up to the front to have the cashier page someone. Waited additional 15 minutes not one staff member showed up.
I was prepared to purchase a dishwasher that day. Upon leaving because obviously I wasn’t going to get help. I notice all the employees were in the break room. I know management do not let the entire staff take lunch/break at the same time or was the staff just chilling in breakroom to avoid the customers.
Note to the managers at this location. Staff should be on the floor ready to assist. Why do you hire employees if they are not going to be present? You missed a 1k sale yesterday. Decided to go to another location. This Home Depot off the Gulf Freeway & beltway 8 is the worst. Their staff is NEVER present.
The staff is super friendly. A specific employee by the name of Marko Rodriguez didnt hesitate to help me out and also recommended other products for what I needed. He brought it to my car. He we super nice and positive attitude when I was telling him how frustrated I was with my project. Thanks Marko!

Don’t go here unless you want your home to have a roach infestation. I went to the tool department and rented a shampoo carpet cleaner for home. To my surprise when I got home to clean the carpet, I went to plug it in and a roach crawled out of the plug. I have a brand new baby and there’s no way I’m going to put that thing back into my car so I had to wait until, my husband was able to take it in his truck which was a couple days later After the return date. I called Home Depot and spoke to Juan to explain to him what happened and ask for my money back but he refused to make it right. Now we have to spend anywhere from $300 to $500 for a roach service to come out and clean our home from the bugs.
I came in looking for a specific paint that my bossy son wanted for his bedroom. If you ask me, black is black (until I got too the paint department). The young lady was very patient, allowing me to FaceTime my son, ensuring we got the correct shade of black.
