What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. The speed that you check out leaves much to be desired. It’s not the cashiers fault, those ladies are always quick, friendly, professional, and are always smiling. They do their job very well. The problem comes from there only being two registers open at any time. That’s on the management.

The in store vs online inventory, as well as, the prices (for this specific store) do not match up in the slightest. On that note the inventory – in the realm of availability of products – needs some extensive work.

The employees as a whole are great all the way around. No complaints there.

The Garden Center is difficult to review. The in store portion is just ok, and checking out here is an absolute nightmare. The outside part is wonderful until it’s not. The plants are taken care of wonderfully at first when they first come in, as time passes, plants get ignored, not watered, kicked around, etc until the plant is either heavily discounted or trashed.

I would like to note that the safety protocols and precautions the store/staff take are taken very seriously, corners are not cut, time and effort are put in to make sure no customer or staff member is injured.

    —UPDATE—
The speed of checking out has VASTLY improved. Great job!!

  2. Safety hazard in this store!
It is really hard and NOT safe to walk around the shelves, they left the forklifts and heavy materials on the way.
Some staff are nice and some of them are not at all!
It took forever to find someone to help us to cut the woods( it is a free service).
    Not recommended at all.

  3. I’ve had to shop here more than a dozen times simply because it’s convenient, but I would strongly discourage visiting this location. Every experience I’ve had here has been awful. This Home Depot is usually understaffed, but what’s worse is that the staffers on duty know nothing. Never has an employee at this location given me the correct aisle for an item. Never. When you order something for pick-up, you often need to go behind the counter to help them find the order. Their stock system is frequently out-of-date, so if it says the item is in stock online, it probably won’t be available in person. The hardware section is just a mess. Much worse than other Home Depots or Lowes. Screws, nuts, and bolts are everywhere, mixed with wrong sizes, totally misplaced, and unorganized. On top of that, there is always a long line at the check-out counter, and cashiers lack the training and know-how to make efficient transactions. A rating of one star may seem obnoxious or overly critical, but this Home Depot has not earned more than this.

  4. I recently had an excellent experience at Home Depot. The associate was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my questions and provide me with the information I needed. She was patient and took the time to explain the different products available. She also offered helpful advice on how to make the most of my purchase. I was so impressed with the service that I will definitely be returning to Home Depot for future purchases.

  5. Hit or miss.

Generally the store is well stocked, but inventory may not match online “live” information. Many times I showed up in person to learn that even a count of 20 left may mean an item is sold out in real life.

Some staff is knowledgeable and very helpful, but I have had numerous encounters with individuals who didn’t know the store well and couldn’t be bothered to help in any way.

The garden section appears to have a rodent problem as virtually every bag of grass seeds was chewed into and there were droppings and dried urine all over the bags. The entire city has a rodent problem, but I would expect a hardware store to at least put plenty of traps and bait out, as they’re selling rodenticide 🙄

Tons of people on the floor but no one knows anything; seems to be a common theme. Every question I asked they had to get someone from the specific dept… And they never showed up so I just wandered around aimlessly. Then what makes it worse is that every time I come here… There’s only one lane open!? It’s 630p… Why is there 1 lane… And if management sees a huge line, like this one I just took a photo of… Why not get more ppl on those registers or open the self check out! Craziness.

It was not a positive experience. It was very difficult to get help at this store. They did not have enough people working on the floor. I had to wait over an hour in the blinds aisle just to get someone assist me with my items. I was purchasing two shades and they needed to be cut to measure. Also, there was only one person working in lightening, fan, electric aisle. I felt bad for that person. People were literally following him from one aisle to the next just to get help. I was one of them. I was trying to purchase a ceiling fan but he was too busy to focus on one costumer. He couldn’t answer my questions but can’t blame him. He just couldn’t help everyone. One thing though, the guy at the painting section was good and helpful.

Great selection. Service is great and friendly. The employees are also very knowledgeable. This location has 4 floors. During busy times the checkout line can get longer, but they have quick service and many cashiers and some self checkout systems.

Most employees in the returns department need proper training, returning (within 90 day period, per policy) is a complete pain in this store… attitude towards customers should be friendlier too! There was one helpful and nice lady who called her manager when she could not figure something out, the rest of them were unhelpful and borderline rude. One guy even tossed my phone in frustration when I was showing him my order number on it and he could not magnify it… training in their own systems and customer service would help!! One time I ordered items for pickup from this store and they cancelled a bunch of them (even though they were showing on stock in that location) – probably just didn’t bother putting the order together… Having said that, the guy in the lumber department is super helpful and does decent cuts

Section 42 flooring. Terrible experience. Whoever is one of the”coaches” needs to go to customer service school. Wish you could hold her responsible, I was in the store around 4:30 on 3/8/23 and it was in relation to getting my shades cut. Not one to write a review but you deserve this bad publicity miss. I had one of those encounters and we all have had them ” that before she even opened her mouth I knew she was not going to help. Rude, nasty and did not want to be there. Think you could find a better “coach”. Do better Home Depot. Will never go to this location again !!! 👎🏻👎🏻
