  1. The store was pretty busy. The one cashier did the best she could but the line moved slowly. I definitely wouldn’t go during peak time if you are in a hurry. Other than that they had well stocked shelves and a clean store.

  2. Was looking for shoe strings. Didn’t want to go to Walmart just for shoe strings. Walked the store. Looked by the shoes. Asked the cashier & she went to get them for me. She got to different types. I went back twice, I thought they where to long. Turned out they where the right ones. Not sure why they are @ the back of the store.

  3. This is the nicest DG I have been too. The store is very well organized, everything is easy to find and the employees are very helpful and usually pretty nice. Sometimes the lines moves slow but there is usually only one cashier

I hate this dollar general because I always get charged more than what the price says at the isle this time when I said something about it the lady threw her hands up and was bothered I mentioned it and wouldn’t do anything about it. Some people don’t have money like that to be getting charged more than what they’ve calculated.

  5. Not a place for anyone who wears masks apparently. Cashier sprayed Lysol after we made our purchase. A few customers giving the evil eye when you walk in wearing a mask. Avoid if you want to wear a mask.

    August 2022. While on vacation, stopped by this Dollar General Store to pick up some coffee. It is probably the biggest Dollar General store I’ve been inside. Upon entering a very clean & spacious aisles to push the buggy cart thru. Everything was fully stocked. A Friendly cashier at the checkout. I will definitely visit this store if ever in the area again.

    Jeez this is one of the biggest dollar General i have ever seen… But just 1 cashier tho…. 👎 Just like Wal-Mart…. 50 lines 1 open… 18 short isles cut in the middle each lines 9 longs one… The outside was clean… The store was in good shape… Just a few empty spots on the shelves… Cutomer service seems helpful….

    The store was originally a Rite Aid or walgreens back in the day when both chains decided to expand there drugstores only to end up shutting most of them down and selling the stores. Luckily, Dollar general bought it out and now they have a larger than normal Dollar General store. At first it seems like things are all over the place but later I realized its well stocked. Everything there anyone needs. The counter and line is setup, like most other Dollar General stores, for covid-19 control with makeshift plastic splash shields and items boxed up to form a customer wait line. Its decent in my view. Just a little wait time since there is usually one cashier on service. Maybe sometimes two when things get over crowded.

    Recently visited 9/2022 and it’s like a brand new store! Sandy and her team (spec. Darwin) have whipped that store into shape! It’s clean and organized and makes for a pleasant shopping experience. Annnndddd the grounds outside are no longer riddled with trash!! You can really tell the employees are taking pride in their store. Way to go guys and thank you!! Store has been semi-remodeled inside which makes the checkout process a bit quicker but the store is still disorganized and cluttered. The parking lot is unsightly with an excessive amount of trash in every corner, under every bush. Being next to our firehouse and library, DG should take more pride as a neighborhood corner store and clean up their property!
