  Me and my grandson visited this establishment back in the early springtime of 2021. They offered me a kids cut discount, I like to save a dollar. However, my expectations were far below what I had recieved. I had asked for a bleached, bob cut with a tad bit of hair creamer in the back, what I had recieved was FAR different for what I had asked for! I had recieved a semi-bleached, not short enough-bob cut and my grandson had received the ugliest hair cut I had ever seen in my whole life of living!!! Once me and my grandson were finished we had went to the register lady-man and they denied my discount!!!! I payed and left enraged!

  Staff is friendly and polite. Wait times are incredibly long though. This is due to not enough staffing. They do the best they can, but you better not have anything else planned for over an hour. They do have online check in, and they will text when ready, with a count down timer. The business has always struggled with staffing. They don’t pay well, so stylists either don’t stay, or avoid applying there. It is the only budget haircut salon in town, so if they were able to get more stylists and keep them they would have the business to make up for a wage increase without increasing prices.

  It just seems that no matter what, the wait times here are NEVER and i mean NEVER accurate. We never seem to have the same issue in Wichita, but it’s happened several times here, that we will check in online, it says 116 mins or close to it and barely time goes down. We waited over an hour and half to come to the store and still had a lengthy wait. it just gets super frustrating. the last time we did the same and then a little over an hour later our time had jumped up by another 30 mins! It seems a better way for this location to operate would be by appt times since wait times are not applicable / or close to being accurate. Also, the stylist are VERY slow moving. Even with a long wait, they see no reason to try and be quicker. 🤷‍♀️

  Always book with Chris and he hooks it up with a clean cut every time. Never thought much of a haircut until I stopped into legends one day and haven’t gone anywhere else since. Always appreciate the professionalism and laid back atmosphere and couldn’t ask for anything better. 10/10 on everything. I highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to get a good cut.   Great atmosphere. Great service. Freshest cut I’ve ever had!

  My son who hates haircuts didn’t struggle at all. He sat in the chair, talked about games. He felt surrounded by family and didn’t throw a fit or anything like what normally happens. Highly suggest going here if you or you’re child struggle with haircuts. My son is autistic and did amazing!

  I go to Walmart and always thought they wouldn’t be good but I needed a haircut one day and they had room for me so I went with it and it was perfect. I go to them every time now. 5 stars from me! . On that not I usually get the same to people. My hair is pretty easy to do not complicated at all. They take there time and they do exactly what i want. They haven’t messed my hair up and they always have room when I need a cut.

  Worked here for 5 years, was treated poorly to say the least when I went on maternity leave after I had my daughter 2 months prematurely. The “manager” melody told my clients I wasn’t coming back even though she knew my return date. When I asked her about this, because several of my clients told me this was being told to clients she told me that people don’t even like me. Very professional, not. After I decided to leave the salon I have been told more times then not by people that she was bad mouthing me and telling things that were not true. It’s been over 6 months since I have left and am still being told she talks about me. She should not be the manager of anything except her attitude. If any of my past clients see this, sorry you have to read this rant. Please feel free to reach out to me!

  Mariah has cut my hair, my daughter’s, my dad’s, my sister’s, and my grandma’s. We each have different textures and very different preferences and she has done amazing with everything.
  Ashley has cut my mom’s hair and my sister’s. She did an amazing short cut on my mom and actually thinned it rather than just layering like most places do.
  Ashley also colored my hair recently. I brought in a picture asked if she could do something similar. We booked an appointment, I sent her the reference photo and she basically had the idea mapped out in her head by the time I got there.
  All in all the staff is very friendly and professional. I will definitely keep coming back!
