Eric has been cutting my hair there for quite some time and he is AMAZING, I would give him 10 starts if I could. Highly recommend. Very personable, attentive to detail and all around a sweetheart. My most recent cut is probably the best I have ever had, even girls have been hitting on me. 😜 Only drawback, the service at the desk could definitely be better. I was recently over charged for a product that I never purchased at the time of the appointment and the service experience I received from said manager was less to be desired for a refund, I will still leave this 5 star review though. Definitely worth the hassle to see my darling Eric.

Stephanie was the one i generally go to for the haircut. she is very polite and friendly. She really does a great job. It gets hard dealing with the reception people in the saloon. The review is only regarding the stylist. 5 stars for her 😀 🙂

3 stars for the reception folks 😐

My beard trim experience here was really bad. The guy was not at all skilled (and it was their best guy for beard trim/Level 2 professional). He did not understand what a faded look is and did not take pointers when I tried to convey what I wanted (disagreed to look at a picture saying “I got this”). He went ahead and shaved off facial hair from my cheeks, something I had been growing for weeks to develop a longer beard. His neck line was really untidy and was in general rude about cleaning up side burns saying he would need to charge for a haircut if he went beyond a certain point (FYI all salons clean up ends to make it blend with your beard).

All in all, I would not recommend going here for a beard trim, it is not their forte. They have really skilled hair stylists (shoutout to Stephanie) and I always get my haircut from here.

The guy who cut my hair isnt a detailed person. I have to cut so much of my fuzzy hair right when i got home. Not sure i will go back there….

Clean shop with a core staff of highly-skilled stylists. Throw a dart and select any one of them at random, you won’t be disappointed! But don’t actually throw a dart at anyone…

Garrett is new to the shop but does a great job. I have a ton of hair and it’s super hard to cut but Garrett takes his time and is super precise. I also walk out with a really a good cut. I’ve had a couple of different barbers at this shop and everyone has been great. I don’t think you can go wrong.

I moved to Seattle 10 months ago and have had a really hard time finding a barber. One of my clients recommended ACME. I booked a same day appointment with Gus and I’m so glad I did. Gus gave me the best cut I’ve ever had in Seattle! Took his time on the fade and edged the line perfectly too. He’s a super chill guy and was great talking with! I literally sent a mass text to all my friends in Seattle letting them know they need to see Gus for their next cut. I’ll also be recommending him to all of my clients. I hope Gus never leaves Seattle or I’d be screwed out of a good cut every month. Highly recommend Gus and ACME.

Keep in mind parking sucks so allow yourself extra time to find parking or just walk.

The barbers are punctual, friendly, and skilled. I’ve seen good looking classic and modern cuts walking out their doors, including fades. They keep the place clean and running smoothly. Walk-ins are allowed but they are busy so I strongly advise booking an appointment online!

I called and asked if they take walk ins. They answered yes but still told me to make a reservation. Which only made me essentially get punished and not allowed to use anyone that was diner sooner. The worst part was Asa the gentleman who cut my hair was so incredibly rude. Spoke to me with immense attitude. I stated I was anxious that I had been growing my hair out for a year. I just needed a professional to put me at ease collaborate on the cut and proceed. Instead this guy talked down to me I even had to tell him to chill which he did not stating that since I am so “particular”. This guy was an outright a hole who almost seemed to dislike me before getting into his chair. I’m not sure if it was because I was trying to get a cut sooner from anyone as I was pressed for time but I was never rude to anyone. I sat and waited only to feel extremely uncomfortable in the chair during the duration of my haircut. I am from out of town but if I were to go back to Seattle this is the last shop I would step in. For the price I paid and the service received I feel duped. If I could get a refund I would. So if you’re in the area go somewhere else.

I’m always super afraid of getting my haircut ever because of how it might turn out compared to what I tell them. I’m not super picky and I don’t mind input, but I want it to be close to what I had in mind. Went my first time to Acme and had Garrett. Was the nicest person, super informative, and did a great job matching the photo I showed but also giving some input and tweaking it to my hair. Will definitely be returning for Garrett again.

Love this place and will be sad to leave it behind. Miles has done such a great job since I arrived in Seattle. Always listened to what I wanted and I have gotten nothing but compliments on my beard and hair cuts.

Rating based on service as I never received a haircut. Scheduled a first available appointment through the app which was 2 weeks out. Received a text telling me that my appointment for Monday is cancelled. No call, no attempt to reschedule, no concern that this was for an interview. In short, while it appears most people enjoy their cuts here (which is why I booked) but don’t rely on your appointment time or any sort of customer service. I suppose their business is based on repeat customers, not new.

Got a haircut about 2 weeks ago and for the price and job done, it does not match. I have been waiting for my hair to grow back a little but the barber cut it so short (way more than I asked) that I am now stuck in an uncomfortable style for my type of hair. If this was a 10 dollar haircut, I wouldn’t be complaining but since they charged me 50…! I do not recommend.

Great Barbershop. Location is central to center of downtown Seattle. 2nd and Stewart. Shop is cool and casual. Barbers are great. One of the best haircuts I’ve had from David. Will be a regular here!

I have been going to Squire Barbershop for 4 months now. I am so glad I found this place. Great service at a great price. I’d highly recommend Erik. He cut my hair since day 1 and he is still the guy to go to for me. The shop is really clean and even though they don’t have a parking lot, there is plenty of street parkings around the building. Also, as other reviewers said, they get booked up quite quickly so make sure to schedule a few weeks in advance.
