  1. After the debacle at St. Matthews car wash I decided to look for another car wash that would keep my car looking clean and I found this one.

    For your do it yourself they have prices from about $7 to $22. I chose the $19 option which does everything but some type of ceramic protection which I was not sure what that was and didn’t think I needed it. There was a line but it moved fairly quickly and I was in and out of the car wash in about two minutes.

    After the wash and as I drove out I noticed they have a large number of do it yourself vacuums, all of which are free. It looks like they have maybe 20 bays and I had no trouble locating one and vacuuming my car. I have to say that the vacuum was extremely powerful. I had to lift it up a little from the carpet in order to get just enough airflow to improve the suction. It was so strong that if I let it stay on top of the carpet it wouldn’t do near as much as my method. What they need are some small holes at the end of the nozzle to help give a little airflow as your vacuum. But nevertheless they were excellent and they even have a spot to hang your mats and vacuum them each separately outside of the car.

    They also have a detail service that will clean your car inside and out. I don’t know if it’s something that you wait for and come back to pick up or if you hang around. There may be some type of waiting area to sit down, catch up on your email on your phone or perhaps watch TV if they have one. If they don’t have one of these they ought to look into investing in something like this. I did notice that they have a list of those prices for a full detailed car wash when I paid for my car wash but do not recall the price and I unfortunately did not take a picture.

    All in all I was very happy with the facility and the cleanliness, and the free vacuums was certainly a nice touch. I will be back probably at the end of the snow season or sooner.

  3. Good price and good service, I’ve been going there for 6 years and most of the staff is very friendly and helpful, and $55 a month to wash your car en get it hand dry and vacuum it’s a rely good deal

  5. My neighbor introduced me to this car wash and it’s great. I went there to get my truck washed and vacuumed. I paid 20 dollars and got the inside/ outside wash. They washed the outside and I pulled into the inside side for the inside. They were fast and very professional. The staff was also very nice to myself and my granddaughter. Afterwards I asked about the monthly and Helen told me the prices and what each covered. She signed me up for the monthly and credited me for the 20 dollar wash so I only paid the rest. Now they take care of my truck and car. Thank you Helen

    This place is a local treasure! Pricing is fair, they are incredibly efficient getting everyone through the wash, and their additional perks (rubber/plastic mat washing area, high power vacuums, restrooms) are well-maintained. I also really appreciate the humorous informational signs while waiting to go into the car wash! Overall a welcoming place to go maintain the cleanliness of your vehicle. I highly recommend them to everyone I know!

    I used to love this car wash, and even had a monthly membership! I had to cancel it though because the workers there would guide me on wrong and carelessly so i eventually had to get a realignment for my car. I used to love the old workers but the new ones don’t even look when guiding you on, don’t seem to try to spray the dirt off and put you to close to the other vehicles. I really enjoyed this car wash and i hope to return one day!

    I’ve had my membership for a few months now and I began with the unlimited ultimate wash package. The first wash, the buff and shine ripped my driver side windshield wiper off. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I kept the ultimate wash and went a second time, ripped off a second time. I downgraded my package to the works wash without the buff and shine so I could avoid the issue. Now in 3 separate occasions, I’ve had my truck washed, the system had me on the ultimate wash instead of the works wash and ripped my wiper off each time. The employees said cars get out of order sometimes which is no excuse. I’ve paid more for windshield wipers than I have this membership. I filled out a form on their website for damages weeks ago after the 4th or so rip off and have not heard a thing from the company.

    Decent car wash that dries the car fairly well. Free vacuuming however I found that the only nozzle they had was one that was fairly wide so if you’re looking to get into the little nooks and crannies between the seats in the console or a little tight areas this won’t work well for you. Suction is excellent however. Some of the other car washes in town do you have different size vacuum nozzles. I also found that when I was trying to vacuum my trunk area the hose for the vacuum barely reached to the back of the car so I ended up going through the front of the car on the SUV to the rear to get to some of the spots.

    Service was decent. Before the car wash they used a pressure washer to spray some of the front of the car and the sides but didn’t spend much time doing that and then the car went promptly through the wash so I don’t think it really helped all that much.

    Not too impressed with this location. Soap was left on my car so I drove through two times. I wish the location on Bardstown Rd was open also. The workers are much friendlier there.

    I signed up for a promotion that lasted three months. 9.99 a month unlimited car washes plus use of the vacuums and cleaning products and rags to finish your car off after the wash. Great deal !! It’s always clean in the area to vacuum your car and the people they have working there are always nice. I hurt my knee and had a hard time walking so one of the people working noticed it and brought me out a couple of rags and cleaning products. That was so thoughtful and it really helped me out. Thanks Take 5 Car Wash !! Five stars all the way !!

    I enjoyed the car wash membership and it was nice but when I finally wanted to cancel, I ended up being charged two additional months and I had to get my bank to intervene. For that reason I’m giving 2 instead of 4 stars

    The car wash itself is great. There are days where I’m curious to know exactly how this place works though one day I go and there’s a fella there to scrub off the dirt from the front windshield in the back door as I go through other days I go through there that fella is not there. The vacuums are hit and miss but overall pretty good for what it is.

    Came here for a quick wash and ended up spending an hour here. When pulling up to the wash i was greeted by an attendant at the self kiosk. Not sure why but she tried to sell me a membership to the car wash. After declining she kept asking me then as i am using the kiosk to pay I am asked again, this time by the kiosk. So i get my wash done…. I pull out of the drying part of the wash and my vehicle is covered in blue soap. I literally paid to get my car washed and it came iut covered in soap. It was hot that day too so it dried up immediately and left blue spots all over. I won’t be coming back here.
