2 months agoSo, I had to go see what the hype was all about. Our local Aldi was clean and had a great variety of stuff. My son said it was a mini Wal-Mart lol. I got some cheese and a few other snacks for my son and a cute sink drain thingy. There is plenty of parking, including handicapped parking. I’m not sure if I will shop there on a regular basis, but only because of what I typically buy, not because of the store itself. I was impressed and will go again if I see something in the weekly flyer that I want or need. Go check it out!2 months agoLove there low prices. There ice cream is so good and cheap. They have food other places don’t have. It’s fun shopping and looking around.a month agoThere’s one cashier that yells everything and acts very put out when you need to use more than one card like a gift card or something. Otherwise pretty usual Aldi experience. I wish they would ignore my service dog and had a bit better training around that area, but that’s just a small issue.3 weeks agoALDI is wonderful for produce, dairy, unique foods, cheeses and chips. This is my go to for everything. Only down side is sometimes they don’t have the same thing twice.3 months agoI happened to be in Brattleboro, so did groceries at Aldi yesterday. I love this store! It is so bright, clean and well organized! If I didn’t live an hour away, it would be my regular go-to for weekly shopping!

3 months agoMy first time – went there for my gluten free teenage boy who is a bottomless pit and I was hoping to save money. While I didn’t find a huge amount of GF options that he enjoyed, I was able to get a good amount, for much less than I would pay at a regular grocery store. Will be back, even if it’s just for odds and end things.2 months agoThe website for sharing a review of our experience does not work. We were double charged for an item and there’s no way to register our problem. There is the phone number for the store that only has a message saying that the phone number doesn’t work. I have never been to an Aldi before and didn’t know what to expect. I was met with courteous staff, like if you asked where something is they take the time to show you rather than send you on a manhunt for a tomato, lol. Good selection. Lots of healthy foods and some good sweets and junk food too. Prices were very reasonable (all things being equal and the ridiculous price of groceries ????)
It makes the most economic sense to shop at Aldi’s as much as you can for pretty much everything. I specifically go there for my produce, snacks and Frozen. My eleven-year-old son is particularly impressed with their flavors of whipped cream which we have never seen in any other store!
We shop here, because their prices are half of what Price Choppers are and the customer service is top notch. I’ve never had a bad shopping experience here abd definitely recommend. Especially if you’re living paycheck to paycheck. I love a lot of their store brand items and their specialty items are always delicious
I have shopped at groceries for well over half a century, and worked as a cashier myself, but I have never met cashiers who are swifter, more proficient and friendlier than the team at the Rutland Aldi’s! As for the groceries: there’s a variety of meat, produce, frozen foods, snacks, and basic ingredients for which Aldi’s is the best place to shop.
