4 months agoClean Aldi’s. Wide isles. Bathroom wasn’t perfect but it was not disgusting either. Smelled clean and had tissue and soap. I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the accessibility and communication system for reaching an Aldi store in real-time during emergencies. As a loyal customer, I have encountered several situations where I urgently needed to contact a specific Aldi store, only to discover that no such direct means exist. Instead, customers are expected to dial a general 800 number, which provides little assistance in dire situations.
Aldi’s commitment to customer service excellence has always been highly appreciated, but the lack of a direct store number is becoming a notable inconvenience and, more importantly, a potential safety issue. I believe it is imperative to address this concern promptly and improve the means by which customers can reach a specific store in real-time.
The current situation poses several issues:
Lack of Immediate Assistance: In the event of an emergency or urgent matter at a particular store, customers should be able to contact that store directly. The 800 number provided does not facilitate quick responses, and often, it is unable to connect customers to the desired location. Customer Expectations: In today’s fast-paced world, customers have certain expectations when it comes to accessibility and convenience. Having a direct store number is a standard feature for many retailers and is expected in modern customer service. Safety Concerns: In emergency situations, quick and efficient communication is crucial. The inability to contact a specific store directly may pose safety risks and hinder the appropriate response in time-critical scenarios. I kindly request that Aldi takes immediate action to address this matter. It is crucial to establish a more effective communication system that allows customers to contact their local Aldi store directly. This may involve assigning a unique phone number to each store location or implementing an alternative method that ensures direct and efficient communication.
I am confident that by improving this aspect of customer service, Aldi will demonstrate a deep commitment to its customers’ safety and satisfaction. The ability to directly contact a store is not only a matter of convenience but also a basic expectation in today’s retail environment.

2 years agoI shop here all the time. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. This location is well-maintained. I love the selection of grocery staples, frozen foods and wine. Don’t forget to bring your reusable bags. You need a quarter for a shopping cart but if you don’t have one just go in and ask a cashier.2 months agoI was scanning my groceries and made a partial payment then the machine crashed. It took almost an hour to get back up running. I was told that I would have to re scan my order and make a second payment. If I’m billed twice Aldi would make the refund. I had used my mother’s food stamp and owed only $10.97 qgen it crashed. The food stamp amount was deducted from food stamp balance and Aldi would not recognize it. They made me scan my entire order and had to pay the total amount again. I will never shop at Aldis again and I’ve told others not to due to my experience.

7 months agoThe Aldis as expected was remodel. The store was clean and I was able to find everything I need. The associate on the floor was polite and professional. She knew her store. I was looking for Jiffy Corn bread mix, lol she was able to tell me the exact location. Love it.a week agoA fabulous grocery & European shopping experience! If you love good cheese 🧀 , they have it all.. Inexpensive & delicious wine! 🍷 Fresh Salmon daily..Fresh veggies, great organic brown eggs very very well priced..I love the Aldi finds..stuff you need for your house & cooking comfort! I go to Aldi every Wednesday..and often they have plants 🪴 Whow! Healthy Great ones! Flavorful place! Try it!3 weeks agoI love shopping at Aldi, especially the North Decatur store. Everything was organized nicely and it was very clean. I went on a Wednesday morning and found some great items. Aldi finds section is my favorite! I’m totally in love with this store.2 months agoTime and money are well spent. I’ve saved so much I’m considering buying a freezer. I spend about half of what I spent at Kroger and I use my savings for the premium gasoline my car takes. It’s amazing and I’m very happy shopping where my money goes so far especially since the pandemic. Way To Go Aldi2 months agoThis is a cool store…but if it’s not the time to close the doors they shouldn’t and I get it if a person is going to shop big at 7-5 minutes til close , then no, but to get no more than 5 items at that time, before closing. Now to close the doors before the actual time, that would be in the 2-1minute zone, other than that close the doors at the actual time posted, which for today, Sunday is 8pm, not 7:49-55.
