5 months agoWe used Deane as our lawyer while selling both of our homes and buying our new home together. Deane is fantastic, very knowledgeable and thorough. Would recommend him to anyone!7 months agoDeane is so great and so is Tara! We’ve dealt with them several times and it’s always wonderful! We moved away from the area but still use their services because they’re so lovely to deal with. They’re worth the drive to Orillia! Very thorough and pleasant.4 years agoDeane is fantastic to work with. His attention to detail and thoroughness are outstanding. Not only did he make himself available for all calls and emails to address questions we had leading up to closing, he met us on a weekend to sign documents in order to work around our schedule. In person, Deane takes the time to go through all documention and is happy to answer any questions before signing. Most helpful and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.4 years agoKnowledge, experience and trust are the three most important things my wife and I look for in any professional. Deane has all three of these in spades. My wife and I have used his real estate services three times now (for 2 house purchases and 1 house sale) and cannot say enough how impressed and pleased we have been with his attention to detail. At lot is going on while moving house and it is always comforting to know that with Deane handling the real estate part, we don’t need to worry about the legal side of things.
As long as Deane continue to practice real estate law, he will be handling ALL our real estate closing needs.
12 months agoIf you want a lawyer who is dishonest and has no integrity or honour, then he is your man! He sends out erroneous bills and when you point out his errors he lies and plugs them. Check with the Law Society first before you engage him…complaints have been filed but he is slippery.

2 months agoDon’t hesitate to call. Very professional and knowledgeable. Ness Law helped me navigate the difficult time after I’d lost a loved one. Very helpful with Estate Law!7 months agoI have known Raquel since a teenager and she has always been a go getter! I had Raquel and her team do my parents wills for them. I am extremely grateful for the time and patience she had, and was extremely kind and respectful towards my parents.8 months agoUpdate: its been a month since my house sale (and original post below) so the lawfirm has addressed a cheque to my house for the remainder of the funds held in trust. HOWEVER, they have sent me someone elses cheque, so if your name is tanya and have an auto loan with cibc, call this lawyer. Absolutely incompetent. This lawfirm ‘helped’ with the sale and purchase of our homes. They forgot to pay my previous mortgage out, thankfully i caught it by chance and emailed them to notify. They did nothing. By week 2 i had been contacted about my prior mortgage by the company ( those emails were forwarded to ness law) concerned that it still hadnt been paid. Forwarded the emails for the second time to this lawyer, and only then did it actually get looked into and paid out. Secondly is the lack of communication. My appointment time was changed three times (stuff happens so ok, i let it pass) but Moving day: we were not told a set time to be out of the previous house and since uhaul doesnt open until 9 we didnt have a truck until then. 1130 rolls around and i get a phone call from ness law saying i should have already been out of the house… but when i had my meeting i even asked and there was no set time, Just to aim for 2pm. So no i dont recommended this law firm to anyone who doesnt want to end up doing their own legwork anyway and double checking things are done as they should be.
4 years agoRaquel is a trusted advisor of mine when it comes to Real Estate Law. I feel very confident referring her to all my clients and she has always been there to answer any and all questions. My clients have always closed their deals feeling informed and respected. She also did a fantastic job with my will. Thank you Raquel for all your hard work.4 years agoI have used Raquel and her legal services for both my own personal needs and have referred several real estate clients to her as well. She always does a fantastic job. She is informative, diligent and handles everything with the level of professionalism that would be expected. I would highly recommend her for any and all of your legal needs!

Top Corporate Lawyer Alternatives in Orillia
Orillia, a city located in Ontario, Canada, has a growing number of corporate lawyers who specialize in providing legal services to businesses and corporations. However, if you are looking for alternatives to hiring a traditional corporate lawyer, there are a few popular options available in Orillia that can provide you with the legal support you need. Here are the top three alternatives:
- Corporate Legal Service Providers: These are companies that offer specialized legal services to businesses and corporations. They typically have a team of experienced lawyers who are well-versed in corporate law and can provide a wide range of services, from contract drafting and negotiation to mergers and acquisitions. The advantage of hiring a corporate legal service provider is that they often offer more cost-effective solutions compared to individual lawyers, as they have a larger team of legal professionals to handle your needs.
- Virtual Corporate Lawyers: Virtual corporate lawyers are professionals who offer their legal services remotely, using technology to communicate and collaborate with their clients. They often work as independent contractors or as part of a virtual law firm. Hiring a virtual corporate lawyer can be a great option if you’re looking for flexibility and convenience. They can handle a wide range of legal matters, including contract negotiations, corporate governance, and employment law.
- Legal Consultancies: Legal consultancies, also known as legal advisors or legal consultants, are professionals who provide expert legal advice on specific matters to businesses and corporations. They often specialize in a particular area of law, such as intellectual property or employment law. Hiring a legal consultancy can be beneficial if you have a specific legal issue or question and need expert guidance. These professionals can provide you with strategic advice and help you navigate complex legal issues.
When considering these alternatives, it’s important to evaluate your specific legal needs and the expertise required. Each option has its advantages and disadvantages, so it’s essential to do thorough research and choose the alternative that best suits your business requirements.
