  We had Energy Smart install our Solar in Lethbridge July 2022. They were the best priced out of all the competitors, had the best customer service, and have always answered my questions – both before and after install. I also liked dealing with someone local who isn’t based out of Calgary, as I feel they have more ownership of their work and quality, as they are based in our community here! They took care of the permits, provided guidance with the Federal Grant, and aligned everything for the install date including the electrician and city inspectors. (The Federal loan was not an option at the time of our install, however we’ve heard from friends that they provided help and guidance on qualifying for that program too!) During install, the Pigeon guard wasn’t installed due to backorder issues – and they were happy to wait for final payment of the project until their work was 100% complete. They returned in less than 2 weeks and completed the install. They have a great warranty and use high quality Solar Panels (verified by an electrical engineer friend who installs large solar farms in Alberta). The monitoring app you get is addictive to check and see how your system is doing and how much you are generating!! We have recommended them to our friends who also had multiple quotes from different suppliers, and have ended up choosing Energy Smart. Rudy, Peter, Adrien and team are great to work with. We also bought our Hot Tub from Rudy in 2020, and recommend Arctic Spas for that product too.

  Had a new solar array installed with Energy Smart. Being in the trades myself, I understand there are times when things don’t go as smooth as they should. Having said that, you can guess that there were a couple hiccups. How companies handle these things is what truly matters. Rudy at Energy Smart (owner) is a man of his word and in the end went the extra mile to make sure everything was sorted out and made good on everything he said months before in preliminary discussions. Overall pleased with the final result.

  Just had my solar panels installed by Energy Smart. They did an amazing job and were excellent to work with. As an electrical engineer in the power industry I can attest that they do good work and provide a good product with all the support you need. They took care of the whole process and showed up when they said they would and the installers were so great to work with. Rudy and his staff are amazing, totally recommend them!

  We were freezing, but we are not anymore due to top level service and efficient work. We have been working with the whole Energy Smart team for top to bottom service. New furnace (installed by Whisper, great service by them also), new hot water tank, new electrical panel, and solar in the spring.

  If you want a high quality customer experience, pick up the phone and give this team a call, you won’t be disappointed!

  Andrew and his crew went above and beyond for all things electrical. He kept me in the loop, was willing to be flexible with us being out of the house, and worked in frozen conditions while our furnace was being replaced!

  Rudy and Alana have kept track of all the things relating to our home and the work being done, and they been really great with explaining each step of the way.

  Pete did a great job installing our new hot water tank (which runs like a dream) and is providing some additional work for us above what we expected. We are so grateful!

  Quick response after first contact, than after few contacts personal visit in place of realization, than few promises and no further action, trying to call them many times no answer, than email to statutory …no answer , they have not even decency to reply that they change their mind and are not interested , i would not recommend this company
