What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. this is a fantastic Walmart location right off Peters Creek parkway in just south of everything in Winston-Salem North Carolina. They have some of the best selection of any Walmart including a full 🍅🍖🥖 grocery, home and garden, paint, kitchen and bath, electronics, toys, pharmacy, and more. The store also feels very safe with ♿ handicap accessible parking, restrooms, and entrances. The staff here are friendly and there are plenty of scanning go checkout options. This location also has a Murphy USA gas station.

  2. Always crowded, but great place to shop.Needs security on the outside. I cooked a graduation meal for my mom and it was delicious. Made a red velvet cheesecake cake for her dessert and omg. Thanks Walmart.

  3. It’s a nice place that has everything you need except for furniture. They have somewhat low prices. It’s my home away from home

  4. Ok, Hanes Mill Road, Winston Salem. A $19 headlice kit cost me over $60. I wish I could get through to the home office. No one answers the phone at the store or the office. I’ve got all my receipts even my Uber & Lyft for my rides.

Arrived at 6:50 for a 7:00 appointment made online to have tires installed. The sign outside of the auto center showed they open at 8. I drove around to the front, went in and talked to 3 managers standing in an aisle. Explained the situation and was told a technician would be in at 7:30. Went back to park at the auto center. Called the store at 7:35 to say the doors are still locked. I was first told they don’t open until 9. Then I was told to hold while they asked a supervisor. Only to come back and say the technician isn’t here yet, he hasn’t clocked in. I suspect he’ll be in at 8 like the sign says. Totally bad business! How much time would it take to 1) update the hood shown in the website, 2) ensure managers know the hours of operation and 3) ensure employees answering phones know the hours of operation. This is ridiculous! Needless to say, this won’t happen again! Firestone May have been more but it would have been worth it. Yeah, I know…you get what you pay for! Nonsense!

This Walmart has everything! As a Supercenter they have all your needs from clothes to car parts. The grocery section is extensive and has many options. Make sure to check out every clearance section for good deals. Be sure to use your Walmart app to make sure the prices are correct. Sometimes the prices are lower than they see listed. The staff is very helpful. The return process is simple and speedy. Self checkout is the way to go, but if the line is too long he’s over to the garden section because people rarely checkout there. 😉

Do NOT place an order with this deli if you expect to have food at your gathering!!! I placed an order for 2 large ranch chicken wing platters for my sons baby shower on 6/12 and even called 6/23 to confirm. When we got there today they said they didn’t have my order. They even said they didn’t have any chicken so they couldn’t cook us any. I even had a picture of the order. How can a grocery store not have chicken wings when I was sitting there staring at a whole row of chicken on the shelf.? The worker was unfriendly and seemed like she was upset because “she just got there.” This is the second time this has happened to our family here. At least the first time, they threw something together (even though it is was wrong).

This was a nice store. My 1st time there. Staff seemed to be friendly & helpful. We returned a purchase & the lady was very experienced & efficient. My friend did housewares & his electric cart died on him. I did grocery & it was well stocked & associates were very friendly. Over-all, we enjoyed the quick stop & shop.

the pickup at this walmart definitely sucks. If there is a manager in charge of this area, they are losing money because he does not know what he does. It takes you to pick up an order at least one hour. really, what a bad service and work they provide in this department of this walmart

It has everything I need in one location. They carry a variety of brands of each product and the food is reasonably priced. I have 2 complaints about this place: A salesperson is hard to find if you need help and I have found on more than several occasions that the cashier marks items twice and is not really paying attention. Once I had 2 items marked up twice on the receipt and had to go back for credit. This has happened to me with different cashiers over time. Why should I have to work hard at checking out my own items? It is usually a lot of items that I buy for the month, and I am there hogging up the scanner b/c I don’t want to come back to rectify a cashier’s mistake!

I Like The Workers, But For The Love Of God, Fix Your “Associate Buttons”. Am Tired Of Waiting 30 Mins For Someone To Magically Walk By Or Searching Around The Store For Someone To Radio The Right Person For My Department. Currently Waiting… 25 Mins And Counting🙃

I’m not sure if it’s just me or not but it’s been my personal experience that the way Walmart has been running their business these days has been going down for quite some time now. I had recently forgot some items that I had to sell check out because no how shall I say “real people “ lanes were open. I had over $335.00 in groceries and I have a disability that makes it extremely difficult for me. So unfortunately I had to drive 20 minutes one way back to get my items. I know you must be asking yourself is there not a closer one? Well the answer is yes. But, they have decided to no longer carry many of the items that I have become accustomed to enjoying and phased out only to replace it with their own personal products. I looked for peanut butter and couldn’t find Jif anywhere on the shelves. That’s right my friends it’s gone. The only kind I like that has a lesser amount of sugar in it. Sorry got lost for a second, when I went to retrieve my strawberries that I had forgot I was faced with the dilemma of picking from the best out of the the worst that was there. I ended up acting paying more because the larger package I originally bought had so much mold and decay that I couldn’t possibly choose between that or something that wasn’t even ripe at all. Walmart advertises how fresh their products are. Well I don’t agree. ALWAYS WATCH THE DATES!!! I have seen so many expired items. Dented can’s of vegetables etc. when I was young there was a special store to purchase dented items at a lower cost. That’s where we had to buy our food because it was cheaper, and not the norm. No one is ever around to help you. I’ve had to climb up counters to reach product’s or wait until another patron walks up to ask for help. Then walk around the corner to literally see 5 workers congregated together just talking. UNBELIEVABLE. WELL, just like K-Mart , Walmarts time is coming to an end. Another company will come along and wipe the rug from under their feet. The prices keep getting higher while we are doing the work of checking ourselves out. WHERE’S our pay for that? Or at least some kind of discount? Especially if we’re doing the work!! See you Walmart. Your employees entitled attitude stinks especially when you try to get help that never comes and they continue to page or you call and you are put on eternal hold then they just hang up on you. My advice, go back to the basics of good customer service. Am I right? You’re darn SKIPPY I am.They do have plenty of handicapped parking and handicapped buggies are there if you need them. Also buggies for children to give a ride with a view and keep them entertained.

I was in the fishing section when a reddish blondish caucasian male walked up to me. He said he was a manager doing an inventory check on the sporting goods aisle. I wasn’t in any rush so I moved out of the way to let him check out the fishing rods but then he asked me if I liked the smell of fish. It was kinda weird but I ignored it until I saw him getting really close to my face. I was very uncomfortable not only because of his rank sewer breath but by the fact that his beard hairs tickled me ever so slightly. I gave up on the fishing rod and left but when I was walking away I saw him approach a family of three. I heard some commotion while I was leaving, but it was none of my business. It looked pretty concerning and I told one of the clerks at the front about the alleged manager but I’m not sure if there was really anything they could do. Keep an eye out at this Walmart you never know what creeps are lingering

Really nice place to shop. They have plenty of items to choose from and the fresh meats I purchased were very good. I also found some very good prices.
