  Rick is the best. With him, there is no need to bring in a bunch of reference photos or stress about how you are going to explain what you want. You can sit back and relax and know that you are in good hands. He used his hair whispering skills to enhance my style by taming my crazy cowlick and making the most out of my receding hairline. Also, the shop has a great atmosphere and Rick has some great stories to share.

  Rick did a great job. No surprise as one of Greenville’s best barbers and among the few Master Barbers we have in the area. Good conversationalist, though a bit salty. Just made the conversation better in my opinion. Good luck getting an appointment though. The guy has a ton of clients.

  Had a haircut/beard trim with Rick and it was absolutely fantastic. He was very personable and fun to talk to about a wide variety of things. I’m definitely going to be a regular after today.   Normally I love this place. Dallas always takes care of me. If she moved I’d travel to her. Unfortunately when she’s not there the place can be rather slack. Pulled up at 6:24 today and the door is locked. The girl inside acts like she can’t see me but she obviously can. Y’all need to hire 5 more Dallas’s and you’d be the best Sports Clips in the country. Oh well. I normally tip 100% of the haircut and give Dallas more than that. Guess I will take my money somewhere else today.

  Everyone on staff seemed to take precautions seriously. While waiting I saw several staff spraying down and wiping things off after every customer.

  When it was my turn, my first visit here, Ariel took the time to understand what I was looking for and made helpful suggestions.

  I’m always a little nervous when I have to find a new stylist, but she made me feel at ease and gave me a great, professional cut. I’m very happy with the results and will definitely be back!

  I had the most amazing time at Franks! Right from the start when I walked in I felt like it wasn’t just in a salon but something more. They greeted me with welcoming smiles, offered to hang my coat and they give you if you wish two free cocktails or sodas! The drinks were amazing. I was able to enjoy them during my haircut.

  I got to work with Lindsey and she did a stellar job. I just dyed my hair and had concerns about how to cut it, but she took me through the process of what she would do and made me feel extremely at ease with the cut. After the cut was done I got a wonderful shampoo and scalp massage, which was relaxing and enjoyable to end the whole experience from the cut to the drink to the massage.

  I’ve never seen a harbor shop like this. They should be on the news and more barber shops should create unique experiences like this!

  Frank’s has a vision of “experience second to none”- have to say that Master Hair Care Specialist Shelly Bonanni came pretty close to that lofty goal on my booked “first experience”. Listened closely to my interests in style and length, and did exactly what I had hoped for. I had shampooed that morning, and when I suggested to skip the shampoo and rinse, she said I would be “missing part of the experience”- which was absolutely the case! (Of course, it gave her the opportunity to demonstrate salon products, which I ended up purchasing!) Shelly was easy to talk to- she’s from Texas and we even exchanged thoughts on our favorite BBQ! My first visit- which included a couple of complimentary Stella’s- will certainly not be my last!

  I’ve been a customer at Frank’s for years now. This morning, I was told that the person who usually cuts my hair was out unexpectedly, and my appointment had been changed to Chad if I wanted to keep the same time. I was hesitant as I haven’t described how I like my hair in years.

  I didn’t need to worry. Chad is a fantastic barber with amazing attention to detail. He hasn’t been with Frank’s long (as of December 9, 2022), but I hope he becomes a fixture. His trimmer work is exceptionally precise, and he knows exactly what your head is supposed to look like.

  Definitely on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. Complimentary drinks, great service, in a nice classy but laid back atmosphere. Karen was my barber and she knocked it out of the park, fixed up my beard which was messed up at another barbershop in my home town. Was very friendly and fun to talk to. Whenever I’m back visiting I’ll be stopping in, even if all I need is a trim.

  A truly enjoyable experience! If you’ve never been to a gentleman’s salon/barber, then this is your chance to kick back and relax.
  First, the atmosphere: a super fun open concept space that mixes some dark leather chairs with plush textured sofas and Edison bulb lamps, that throw back to a time when houses had a “Study Room” (without being nerdy).
  There are ten booths for individual hair stylists, five on one side, five on the other with full length wall mirrors and a central check-in desk. There is an upstairs lounge with a big screen TV that provides a quiet, classy “Man Cave” feel and doubles as the waiting area. Drinks are included in cost of appointment and include water, soda, coffee, scotch, beer, and bourbon. I recommend the “Manmosa,” which is orange juice with peach bourbon.
  And of course, the quality of the haircut. I’ve been to see Thitiya twice now and both times she has given a professional, proficient cut that was exactly what I asked for.
  And located near Coffee Underground, it’s in the heart of downtown Greenville off Main St.
