I visited here at 6:20pm on a Sunday afternoon to help my brother shop for a beige suit jacket and a vest to match with some pants he already had. They have VERY Limited suit/dressy section for men. If that’s your purpose, do not come to Macys, at least at this location. You’ll have better luck somewhere else. We legit was like “that’s it?”. We even asked an employee to be sure. Clearly, we didn’t find what we were looking for.
Upstairs, they have Macy’s Backstage, which is essentially like a discount area. There was hand sanitizer available by the escalators. I did notice that the escalators were narrow. While simply just browsing, someone did ask if he needed any help, which he didn’t. Backstage has a BUNCH of stuff. So, I would definitely recommend going there FIRST before shopping in the regular area. Ultimately, we left and went to another store to continue the search.
In this store they did not receive things that I bought and wanted to return because the size did not fit me well, the excuse they gave me was that they did not return me because I bought on special. Since 2016 I had a Macys credit card, today I canceled it, I’m not interested anymore, I like that they respect my rights even if it’s a penny… I never buy there. I was traveling from Eden North Carolina to this place, no more, until never, they lost not one client, but several clients, I felt very discriminated against today in this place, the business is done by the clients! I bought one Estée Lauder gift set for 70 plus , facial foam, Micro Essence. A few month ago So she give me some free gift samples. The sale consultant also said she was checking if everything is there. I directly bring home gift set but later they delivery the other. I didn’t open and check anything.I just saw today one of Big Revitalizing Supreme cream was Empty.
My husband purchased a diamond bracelet as a valentine gift for me. The bracelet was a $1200 item and within 4 months, it pulled apart. I called Macy’s jewelry department and they said there was nothing they could do for me but send it off for an estimate to repair it which would be quite expensive. I would recommend that jewelry be purchased in a jewelry store. In a department store, once the item is sold, you are on your own if it falls apart unless you purchase their expensive warranty. Very disappointing…
Store is clean. Our checkout lady was alive! With her super cute bright red hair and love for the music playing (Madonna). She cheered up the mood in the long line! In a room full of un-happy people- we were thankful for her!
