What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. After opening my grapes I ordered with the pick up option I found a SNAIL in the bag. After calling the store to complain all the manager had to say was “it’s a fresh product what do you expect” Terrible customer service.

  2. this place is going to scam you if you don’t pay attention… $0.88 tomatoes are actually $1.99 per pound if you don’t pay attention and read every word anywhere on display and understand you won’t get advertised low price without a digital coupon, and cashier ain’t telling you nothing either … I’m tired of scammers and I’m done shopping at Kroger , I’d imagine every Kroger is same as this one … so you should probably find another grocery store to shop at if you’re looking for honest business … I got a nice Food Lion right next to my place where I’ll be doing all of my grocery shopping from now on …

  3. We use to shop at this store regularly, but have switched to Publix several years ago. The management of this store has declined and continues to decline. It is over crowded, the parking is a disaster, them don’t have enough staff. The staff they do have especially at the deli and butcher counters, demonstrate little to no customer service skills. Good luck filling a prescription here. The lines most of the time are very long and always slow. The employees that pick the on-line orders don’t consider other customers or how much of the aisle they are blocking. It is just disappointing and unpleasant to shop here. We only come here if Publix doesn’t carry an item we need or we go to Walmart, yeah that is how bad it is. The one bright spot are the cashiers, overall they are friendly and courteous. The rest of the employees could learn from them.

My suggestion is avoid this store!

  4. Grocery pickup has issues. Either runs late or never fills the order and tells me I am welcome to come back. I don’t have time to run back and forth and why should I believe the next time will be any better. I’m disabled and depend on the pickup to help me but since it’s unreliable it’s of little help. I’ll drive Down two blocks to Publix’s. Higher prices but reliable service and they fill pickup orders within a hour. Sorry Kroger I’ve tried to be loyal but you’ve wasted way to much of my time and gas driving over for nothing.

  5. Incredibly frustrated with this store. I’ve selected Kroger pickup 3x in a row and they’ve been unable to have my pickup order on time. This store is only convenient to my job so asking me to “come back later” defeats the entire purpose of using the pick up feature.

Kroger in Smyrna TN: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know

Shopping at Kroger, like any other retail store, entails following certain rules and regulations to ensure a smooth and pleasant shopping experience. Understanding and adhering to these rules can help maintain a safe and organized environment for both customers and staff. Here are some guidelines to keep in mind while shopping at Kroger:

– Follow COVID-19 guidelines: During these unprecedented times, it is crucial to follow the safety protocols put in place by Kroger to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This may include wearing a face mask, practicing social distancing, and using hand sanitizer available in-store. By doing so, you contribute to the well-being of yourself and others.

– Respect the store’s hours: Kroger, like most supermarkets, has specific operating hours. Make sure to familiarize yourself with these hours to ensure you visit the store during the designated times. Arriving early or late may cause inconvenience and disrupt the store’s ability to maintain a clean and fully stocked inventory.

– Follow parking regulations: When driving to Kroger, it is essential to park your vehicle in designated areas. Be mindful of reserved parking spots for individuals with disabilities and avoid parking in unauthorized spaces. This helps maintain order in the parking lot and ensures everyone has equal access to the store.

– Keep the store clean: While shopping, try to keep the store tidy and organized. Return unwanted items to their proper shelves or designated areas if you have changed your mind about purchasing them. Dispose of any trash in the provided bins, preventing clutter and making it easier for store staff to maintain a clean environment for all shoppers.

– Be considerate of others: Shopping at Kroger involves interacting with other customers and store employees. To create a harmonious shopping experience, be courteous and respectful to those around you. Avoid blocking aisles and intersections, be patient when waiting in line, and allow others to pass by without obstruction.

  • Wear a face mask at all times.
  • Practice social distancing by staying at least six feet apart from others.
  • Use hand sanitizer before entering and after leaving the store, or after touching surfaces.
  • Observe any designated one-way aisles or marked social distancing guidelines within the store.
  • Respect the quantity limits on certain items to ensure fairness for all customers.
  • Pay attention to any signage or instructions provided by Kroger staff.
  • Use contactless payment options, such as mobile payment systems, if available and convenient for you.

By adhering to these rules while shopping at Kroger, you contribute to a more pleasant and efficient experience for both yourself and others. These guidelines are in place to promote safety, respect, and order within the store, ensuring that everyone has a positive shopping experience.
