  2. Took our puppy for her first grooming. They did great with her and I love that you can watch without the dogs seeing you. They did a great job. Now that she’s bigger, we got her big girl cut. Again they did a great job.

  3. Very dirty, all of the individually boxed hornworms were dead, a lot of dead wax worms in containers, and there is a baby beardie that is unwell-looks to be declining from last visit and should not be on the sales floor. These are consistent issues for this location.

  4. With six cats and one dog, I visited the store more often than most. The selection is excellent. The staff is very knowledgeable , and the only issue I have ever had there is trying to make a left turn on to Davis Highway. Recently, I’ve been routing my trips, so I only had to turn right, because I’m going to keep coming there! My critters would probably revolt if I changed their food on them!

  5. Too much fun! Completed 6-week Puppy training class that was filled with laughter and a few puppy uh-ohs. It was amazingly helpful. Of course, all the supplies we needed were in stock in the store. Joe the Trainer was remarkable. Am going to Intermediate training class in July. Cost was very reasonable – $99-$120 depending on if you went in-store for a $25 coupon. Overall, a terrific experience for me & my puppy!

    I was shocked! Prices are high everywhere so that wasn’t the shocker. I spent $57.00 and the cashier asked if I wanted a bag for my items. I had several small things so a bag would have been helpful but when she told me they now charge .10 per bag I said NO THANK YOU! Some may say this is to encourage reusable bags but I know a former employee who says it has nothing to do with that. I’m all for the environment, but this is a sorry way to save a dime.

    I was shopping at the store for natural dogs treats and happened to look in the grooming window and the groomer was very rough with the large, older dog on the table. It was clear he didn’t like it and was pulling a bit, but she literally grabbed and jerked his leg forward and just started clipping nails, without much close looking to ensure where she was cutting. I watched for a while until she saw me and changed his positioning. Take heed if you take your babies there.

    I went to the Petco for the first time last night to pick up an online order that I had placed. It simply could not have been a friendlier or easier process. I only had to walk a few feet in the door where my pickup was quickly available through the cashier. In and out in a few minutes. A truly excellent experience.

    Sad, loud, and kinda filthy. A few dogs were just straight up vicious and should not be with that gate and SHOULD have a sign that warns you they’re aggressive. There was one dog at the end of the hall just crying howling it was heartbreaking. A lot of them are stray bully breeds which is sad but the norm these days. Quite a few just need love and affection, as they would simply lean against the fence for touch. Do not bring small children here who do not know the danger of dogs as there’s no telling when they might turn and bare its teeth. An A for effort but this shelter really needs more funding and employees.

    I adopted a dog from here. They lied to me and told me I could bring it back if it didn’t work out. Unfortunately it didn’t work out with the dog and I try to bring it back now they won’t take the dog back. So just be aware if you want to get an animal from here you can’t bring it back. They’ll lie to you and tell you you can but when you try to take it back they won’t take it.
