a week agoThey threatened to turn off the water to my motel room since I complained about not getting some coffee. He upgraded my room with a coffee maker and gave me coffee for five days. I asked for coffee the sixth day and Shawn said I get no more coffee as it was a gift and he chooses when to gives it and when he keeps it. When I complained his supervisor threatened to turn off the water to my room. I left that day for a reasonable facility. Don’t stay at Best Inn unless you enjoy being threatened, harassed and demeaned.a month agoClean, spacious rooms, and very comfortable beds! The front desk agent was very kind and accommodating, we had a very stressful day of traveling and ended up arriving early and they quickly switched us to a room that was already ready and got us in early! Very comfortable beds and nice pool. Highly recommend and will be back. We loved our stay here :))

a year agoI was there 4 nights about a week ago and it was excellent! top matter for me: so clean! I like the house rules because are straightforward and considerate towards own and other`s people rest. Comfortable bed, nice house, nice area. You`re not allowed shoes in the house, so you`re provided with nice flips at arrival. Safe place. If returning to Santa Ana, would def look up this place again. Phong is a very kind host!3 years agoI really enjoyed my stay here. First time in a hostel and I will never forget my experience hanging out and talking with Phong and all the other guests. A clean and comfortable home with all the amenities I could want. Not far from John Wayne airport and close to the convention center. Phong continually works to improve his already great home and make our stay pleasant. I will certainly stay here in the future and really appreciate the opportunity to meet new people. Who knows, you might even learn something new from a conversation with a stranger.3 years agoI stayed at the Orange Mango House for 3 nights for a convention in town and had a pleasant stay! The house was very clean and tidy, no shoes in the house! Which I appreciated. I rented one of the bunk beds so there were 3 other people in my room. It was cool to meet new people! Phong was very nice and willing to help out if needed. I would definitely come stay again!3 years agoClean, feels like staying in a home which is nice. Friendly staff, there are rules but they all lean towards keeping things quiet and tidy for everyone which is appreciated.I had checked out already for the day but later on I missed my bus late at night and managed to get back to the hostel and they kind enough to get me set up again for the night and offered to drive me back to the bus station in the morning.
5 years agothis is a wonderful place to stay whether it’s for a few days or a few weeks. the owner is incredibly personable and welcoming, and the people who stay there are incredibly friendly. I made good friends in the short time i was there. the beds are comfortable and the rooms are safe. I was even provided with a fan, great for the hot summer! this was my first time staying in a hostel and thanks to Phong, it won’t be my last should the opportunity come around again. thank you OMG hostel for making my stay a positive one!

The hotel is currently finishing renovations. This did not impact my stay at all which was for 5 nights. My initial contact was with your representative Alan who’s customer service is outstanding. He’s personable and professional. I forgot the woman’s name who was working the other nights, however, she was also amazing. Definitely, was happy to receive a newly renovated room and the Double Tree cookies! If I’m ever back in the Orange County, California area assuming there’s availability I 100% would stay at this location again! Location to my destination was perfect.
Stayed during renovations but I had no problems. I used the app to check in and check out. The staff was very helpful in the limited interactions I had with them. I was able to text them and ask for extra towels and for a slightly later check out time.
Located next to a set of restaurants and a Starbucks. Also located with driving distance of a lot of other shopping and dining places. Good location, quiet and not on the main road but close enough to it and the freeway for easy access for travel.
Room furniture was very old and dirty. One small waste basket for the whole room. Spot of blood on one blood sheet. No free coffee in lobby. Slow flushing toilet. Trash outside of lobby over flowing. Lobby rug always unkept. I will never stay here again. I have stayed here twice in the past, it was good.
Staff are friendly and helpful hotel is under some renovations but doesn’t affect stay. Christopher made our trip memorable by switching rooms to a new renovation room. Breakfast is more enough for sharing with your spouse or friend. Easy access to many different restaurants and easy access to the freeway. Possibly returning this October will definitely be returning to the hotel.
While a lot of construction was under the way the view at night around the man made lake gets them 5 stars. Service was also on point! Food at the hotel needed some seasoning but was reasonable priced and came out fast. The location is ideal for walkers and runners. Starbucks a few good restaurants right around the corner too. Go see the lake at night!
