What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Our van looks brand new! I’m shocked 😳. Thank you so much Elaine for your hard work! It is very appreciated.

  2. Like brand new!!! My boyfriend of 12 years is very critical and has a bad attitude about nearly everything. I had him go pick up my car today after being cleaned (we have three kids so our car was a disaster) and he was so impressed!!! For a man who rarely says anything nice… his exact words were… “It’s really nice!”.

    Thank you guys!!!!

  3. Had my interior detailed. Was good on the carpets, got all the dog hair and salt. I ended up doing the seats more from kids’ drinks, and the visors or roof weren’t touched. The center console top wasn’t done enough. I just got a can of oxi upholstery cleaner that got all the rest of the spots cleaned.

  4. I paid for a spring clean and they didn’t even wipe out my doors, garbage still in my car. Horrible service. Don’t waste your money!

  5. Every summer I give a new to me car wash a chance. I go 4-5 times and then decide if I’ll be a frequent customer or not.
Well I decided in two trips this is not the place for me.
The first time I got the basic wash and I was happy with it. This past week I got the ultimate summer special. I paid over 60 for all the bells and whistles and what a waste of money. All the things I wanted cleaned were not done. My trunk for starters, I know for a fact it was not sticky going into the car wash but coming out the “floor” sure was. They missed vacuuming the center console area where the gear shift, emergency brakes, and cup holders are. I paid an extra 9.99 for the leather protectant and I could see where it applied. My seats were streaky over not even half.
8/10 do not recommend. I spent an extra hour cleaning what I paid to have done.

Have you ever seen one of those internet videos of a car traveling through a wash with their dogs while playing house music at full blast and the colors of the soaps on the windows create a nightclub type atmosphere t
hat seems really fun and enjoyable? That’s the kind of wash you can expect at Tommy’s. Download their app and sign up for automatic washes or whatever and you can go through the fast lane which will certainly make you feel cooler than the people waiting in the lane that have yet to pay. For the full night club experience, go for the most expensive wash, which ultimately is probably better for your car, at least that’s what I’m duped to believe.

I was asked to update my review. I had originally given five stars, but since I am going to be more specific now, I guess I should set it to four stars.

I like the car wash. I have a membership for The Works. I try to wash my truck once a week. The free vacuums are great.

So why only four stars? The location of the car wash isn’t the best. It’s right on a super busy road, making turning left impossible. The vacuum lot is a bit tight. The wash itself sometimes doesn’t completely wash the back end of my truck. I will come out with a dry spot in the middle. The undercarriage wash isn’t always the best. I have runners on my truck and sometimes there is still dirt on them afterwards. You have to do a 180 degree turn to get into the car wash, which is a bit tight. Lastly, I once had my rear window shattered from the dryers. It was a crazy thing. There must have been a weak spot in the glass already. I was rolling through the dryers and the rear window shattered into the cab. I brought it to the attention to the employees. They seemed a bit skeptical, which is fair. I was told I would receive a call from their management about it, but I never did. Ultimately, it was fine. I have full glass coverage so I had it fixed. My insurance company didn’t even bother contacting the car wash about it.

All these things are a bit nit-picky. But five stars means perfection. And there are little things that make this car wash not exactly perfect. That said, and all the above said, I do appreciate Tommy’s Carwash. It’s fast and easy to get a wash in. The wash is good. I would recommend Tommy’s Carwash, and would recommend getting a membership.

This car wash does a great job at cleaning my car. It is a pricey option, unless you go with a membership which is helpful if you plan on going frequently. During the warmer months they have the option to wash your floor mats which is a huge bonus. The vacuums are free with purchase of wash or if you have the membership. I have not had any interaction with the staff, but during Halloween season they had a fundraiser which was pretty cool. If you’re not used to the conveyor belt style car wash it can be a little bit to get used to, but it’s nice to be able to relax a little bit while your car gets cleaned. The colorful flashing lights add a lot to the experience.

It’s not love-hate, it’s more of a like-dislike situation with this car wash. I like the ease of use and generally how clean they get your vehicle. Not clean the first time through – just loop around for a second try. The dislike side of it my monthly bill went up a few dollars without any notification. I already thought the place is bordering on being too expensive – I don’t like sneaky price hikes.

This place might be for you if:
+ You wash your car at least once per week.
+ You are okay with touch wash (extra clean, but with the possibility of scratches?)
+ You also need a place to vacuum your vehicle.
+ You want a quick washing experience.
+ You like the hassle free nature of subscriptions (the app line moves quickly!)

Not so much for you if:
    – You don’t wash your car often. There are cheaper places to get a good wash.
    – Your paint job or vehicle in general is high end (touch wash concerns).
    – You want a better underbody wash. I am not particularly impressed with the “under body” was from Tommy’s.

Love tommys. Whats there to say… the membership is the way to go, 35 bucks a month for unlimited, car washes. The price for one “ultimate car wash” is 18 bucks and 12 bucks at most gas stations. 35 bucks a month when you go through it two, three even, four times in a row. Ive taken my car through four times in a day that would normally be 72 bucks. Also open in the winter when we need the car wash the most. Car washes aret just to keep it pretty, road salt will rot your car quick.

There was no working phone number to contact anyone. The drain was plugged and blue soapy water was running out into the parking lot right next to the woods.

One of the worst car washes I’ve been to and since I travel a lot, that’s a big statement. It’s 4$ using coins and only 4 1/2 min. Also, don’t bother with the foam brush, no foam! Don’t bother with soap, no soap! Don’t bother with the vacuums, 1$ gets you 3 min, not 5 as stated. Also, no suction and the attachments are horrible. Also, the place is absolutely filthy.

This place is a hidden gem. I don’t even want to mention it because it’s so laid back and quiet, so I don’t want to attract too many people but also, it’s worth bragging about. It’s got good machines, and the cost is great. I paid 9 dollars for an awesome car wash I did myself instead of 12 for an auto wash that misses soap and barely rinses. The only thing I didn’t see was a dryer, but I wasn’t looking hard so maybe it’s there. Take the kids here, it’s fun, cheap and clean!
