What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Just joined recently. Gas is always a great buy. Roses were $19.00 for 2 dozen and bloomed beautifully. Cannot wait to find more deals with our membership.

  2. Known for its quality , and exceptional customers services I always buy things that I need in bulk from here. Premium quality Home improvement stuff are also one of the good pick. Appliances are little pricey than other stores but delivery and warranty standards are unmatched that justifies the price difference.
You will like the Delicious Fruits and variety in bread section

  3. One of the busiest Costco wholesales I have ever seen. It is packed with a lot more stuff than the other stores.

  4. I really enjoyed my experience here minus Self Checkout. When I got to Self Checkout, I saw the lady point someone to a checkout station that was open but asked me for my card. When I pulled it out, she asked me to show the ID part and I found that strange. Why would she single me out? Then, when I made my way to the check out, I was immediately bombarded with another lady who worked there and she insisted she check me out when it was “self check out.” It was intense and I had to walk away because of the aggression. I didn’t need that energy from either of them. I’ve never experienced that in the other stores so I was surprised when they did it. I don’t mind people doing their jobs and people being helpful. I do mind when it’s done nefariously and under false pretenses. And that’s what it felt like here.

  5. I’m no longer finding Costco to be cheaper than buying things from other stores without membership fees, not to mention there are no gas rewards and their credit card rewards are poor when compared to Kroger.
I still go when certain items are on sale but I no longer buy many of the food items I once did. A lot of the bulk items have been cut in half as well. They always move things around so you’re forced to look at other items in the store which really just makes things a hassle.
They no longer post eye exam prices since they’ve gone up and are now as expensive as other optometrists in the area for prescription glasses.
The only thing I enjoy is the customer service, upper management and corporate could do a better job and not hold meetings in the aisles when people aren’t trying to shop.
In conclusion I’m finding it hard to justify the $100 yearly fee, however if you have a larger family who likes sticking to the same products and food it may be great for you.

I absolutely love Costco but boy oh boy is it crazy busy! We typically go when they first open in the morning otherwise it’s pure chaos. They had lots of samples out today which was nice to see. I wish there was a more organized way to control the crowd at the food court/station because it really causes a big people/cart jam trying to navigate out of the food court crowd. The staff is always helpful. It would be nice if Costco had later hours.

Some things are more expensive than Sam’s, but you can find stuff here that you can not find at Sam’s. The food is good at the food court. We did not get a chance to check out everything, but so far, very happy with our membership.

We are the dedicated Costco lovers. This location is great with all the essentials rightly organized. This is just another Costco, and if you are not a Costco member – better late than never. Costco has always cater the typical middle class families with great quality great cost. It’s never been the most fancy like Whole Foods, however, never compromises with the quality for the price. It always balances. The quality and quantity both are great and perfect for a family.

Used to be my store but not anymore.Shawn who supposedly is a manager telling customers that he doesn’t care if they shopped there cause I told him to check customers photo on card before letting them in the store instead of holding the line at self check out to check photos. Anyway we have to show the card at the entrance so why not do that there? I pay for my membership to shop freely but not to have to be policed at every point.

Poor management decision needs to be fixed for better service. I hop management understand this as a constructive criticism and take action to fix it.

Costco is full of surprises. My family shops here because of the large selection of natural and organic options. There are certain items that we can buy here cheaper than grocery stores. Kerrygold butter is one of those items. They’re always getting new home items and furniture. We enjoy looking around when we come to shop.

My husband and I are big fans of Costco we go there three times a week at a minimum The only problem we have is over and over were asked to show our ID because there has been card sharing… If you get caught card sharing and I have seen others that have You get $30 off of your $60 membership… So basically you get a better offer than we got I don’t think this is right and many of us do not

I might be an addict, but it seems like I can’t get through a week without a Costco trip. They even have plain, whole milk yogurt now! So, get the card, do the thing. Costco ftw. Update: I have had several great interactions with the staff at this location, they have been cheerful and willing to help. Wish they would carry 25# bags of rolled oats tho! And Snickers bars.

I frequent this location and I always find what I need..and sometimes more. Clean and a friendly staff that willingly assists you. Many healthy choices in bulk. Snagged some after holiday deals on clothing for layering and winter needs just a couple days ago. Also do not overlook the home area. Grabbed a fabulous deal on collapsible crates. Seems like my oldest daughter or I catch a good deal in this area every visit. If bulk is too much, there is an Aldi next door that is also great…and a Homegoods with TJ Maxx combo store beside that 😃 Fantastic shopping spot!

So while not a member, I was in running an instacart order. 3 stars is because of most of the employees. However while Jamie, one of the supervisors was ringing us out and attempting to bring the massive lines down, the other supervisor came up. This other supervisor proceeded to, in a very unprofessional and rude manner, berate Jamie on the floor in front of customers for not communicating that he was hopping in. He tried to diffuse the situation by saying “we’ll talk in a minute.” She proceeded to say “Oh yes we will” in a threatening tone. This was Friday August 25th at around 5:30

How to Shop Smart at Costco Columbus OH: A Quick Tutorial

Shopping at Costco can be a great way to save money on groceries, household items, and more. However, navigating the large warehouse store can be a bit overwhelming if you’re not familiar with it. Here are some simple guidelines to help you shop at Costco effectively:

  • Get a membership: Before you can start shopping at Costco, you’ll need to become a member. Costco offers two types of memberships – a Gold Star membership and an Executive membership, which offers additional benefits.
  • Make a list: Before heading to Costco, it’s a good idea to make a list of the items you need. This will help you stay focused and avoid impulse purchases.
  • Consider bulk buying: Costco is known for selling items in bulk, so be prepared to buy larger quantities than you might be used to. This can save you money in the long run, but make sure you have enough storage space at home.
  • Check for seasonal items: Costco often carries seasonal items, such as holiday decorations or summer products. Keep an eye out for these special deals and plan your purchases accordingly.
  • Compare prices: While Costco generally offers great deals, it’s always a good idea to compare prices with other stores to make sure you’re getting the best value for your money.
  • Bring reusable bags: Costco does not provide bags at checkout, so it’s a good idea to bring your own reusable bags or opt for the boxes provided in-store.
  • Sample and try new products: One of the perks of shopping at Costco is the free samples they offer. Take advantage of this to try new products and see if you like them before purchasing.
  • Plan your visit: Costco can get quite crowded, especially on weekends. If possible, try to go during off-peak hours to avoid long checkout lines and crowded aisles.
  • Stay organized with a shopping cart: Costco provides large shopping carts, so use them to your advantage. Keep your items organized in the cart as you shop to help with checkout and loading your vehicle.

Shopping at Costco can be a fun and cost-effective experience if you follow these simple guidelines. Remember to make a list, compare prices, and take advantage of the bulk buying options. With a little planning, you can make the most of your Costco shopping trip and save money in the process.
