I am an ex-competitive gymnast, and the pain got so intense that it actually forced me to give up gymnastics. I also have moderate to severe scoliosis that was an initial 43 degree curve pre-bracing. It was revealed about a year ago through an MRI that I had a stress fracture and lots of inflammation in my lower back.
I’ve tried months of physical therapy, heating, icing, and increased activity to try to help the pain, and nothing seemed to alleviate it for extended amounts of time. My family and I eventually decided to seek treatment from a chiropractor. After a few months of going to Martin Family Chiropractic, I must say that my day to day life has been tremendously improved. Just simple tasks such as sitting in class and at home, laying down, bending, stretching, and so much more used to aggravate my lower back. Everyone at the office is so incredibly sweet and welcoming, and this experience really has changed my life for the better!
